This forum is both important and timely. As we speak, our world is at another historic moment since World War II. The reality is: the coronavirus keeps raging on, putting humanity through a public health crisis with far-reaching implications; unilateral and bullying practices are rampant, presenting unprecedented challenges to the international order; and protectionism is on the rise, with the world economy on the cusp of the worst recession since the Great Depression. In particular, where is our world headed in the post-COVID era? No country should take this question lightly, and more important, everyone should avoid making the wrong choice.

接下來，就是保姆級干貨啦。我會從措詞和短語使用，及句式處理幾個方面來進行詳細講解。

處于重要的歷史時刻：at a historic moment,historic表示：歷史性的，有歷史意義的。同義表達還有：at a critical juncture in history。

擺在我們眼前的現(xiàn)實是：“擺在我們眼前”可以處理成后置定語，the reality facing/confronting us,文中采用省譯的方法，即刪去不符合目標語思維習慣、語言習慣和表達方式的詞，以避免譯文累贅。

新冠肺炎疫情：2020年對我們影響最大的話題，一定要學會表達。the coronavirus pandemic, the coronavirus epidemic, the Covid-19 pandemic.

仍在肆虐：keep raging on, rage means (a disease or fire) spreading rapidly or uncontrollably.也可以酌情處理為類似表達：be still wreaking havoc, be causing continual/continuous destruction.

不要只會influence和effect，impact/implication也要積累。其中，只有implication是可數(shù)的。

單邊霸凌大行其道，國際秩序正面臨前所未有的巨大沖擊挑戰(zhàn)：同樣采用了合譯法;

大行其道譯為rampant;"國際秩序面臨挑戰(zhàn)"一句，把主語處理為賓語，即......對國際秩序造成挑戰(zhàn)，短語為present challenges to...類似表達還有：pose threats to...對......構成威脅。
