Located in Snake Hill of Wuhan City in Hubei province, Yellow Crane Tower is exalted as “ the First Tower in the World”. It is one of the most famed towers in Jiangnan. Because of the superior geographical position, Sun Quan built the Yellow Crane Tower into a military watchtower. For hundreds of/For centuries, its military use has been gradually forgotten and the Yellow Crane Tower has been appreciated mainly as a picturesque scenic spot. In the Tang Dynasty, there were numerous popular poems to praise the Yellow Crane Tower. It is these poems that make the tower so famous and attract tourists.
