特斯拉的故事，但由于其外形及設(shè)定與日版的出入較大，也沒有發(fā)揮出原子吐息的技能，因此廣大哥斯拉粉絲及東寶株式會社并不承認(rèn)它是真正的哥斯拉，于是去掉了Godzilla當(dāng)中的God,改稱為Zilla (斯拉)以作區(qū)別。

本片中的哥斯拉可能是繁殖能力最強(qiáng)的哥斯拉，它開始時對人類也并沒有很強(qiáng)的攻擊傾向，只是想要繁殖而已，它也是人類核試驗的受害者。
