Call for papers: ROS-Based Dynamic Therapy of Cancer

Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Reactive oxygen species (ROS)-relatedtherapies by in situ ROS generation are emerging as an attractive therapeuticmodality with potential to treat deep-seated tumors, avoiding side effects tohealthy tissues.?Nanomedicine, which can be designed with uniquephysicochemical properties, can respond to external excitations such asnear-infrared (NIR) light, ultrasound (US), X-ray, and microwave (MW), ortrigger internal chemical/biological reaction in tumor region to produce ROSfor ROS-related therapies,?showing great advantages for deep-seated tumortreatment with high specificity, safety, and non-invasiveness.?
Although ROS-related therapies havemade positive progress in tumor treatment, there are still many limitations. Inthis research topic, we aim to cover the latest research on functionalbiomaterials with unique capabilities for ROS-related cancer therapy
We cordially welcome investigators tosubmit articles (original research, review, mini-review, and perspectivearticles). Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
Design and preparation ? ? of functional biomaterials for ROS-related cancer therapy;
Killing mechanism of ? ? ROS-related therapy;
Toxicology studies on ? ? ROS-induced biomaterials.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submittedonline at?www.mdpi.com?by?registering?and?logging into this website. Once you are registered,?click here to go to the submission form.Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that passpre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously inthe journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the specialissue website. Research articles, review articles as well as shortcommunications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract(about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on thiswebsite.
Submitted manuscripts should not havebeen published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere(except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereedthrough a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and otherrelevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the?Instructions for Authors?page.?Molecules?isan international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published byMDPI.
Please visit the?Instructions for Authors?page beforesubmitting a manuscript. The?Article Processing Charge (APC)?forpublication in this?open access?journal is 2300 CHF (SwissFrancs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English.Authors may use MDPI's?English editing service?prior topublication or during author revisions.
