①非謂語作主語
- 哪些形式可以做主語？
Swimming is my hobby.
To swim?in that river in summer is what I like to do.
Being punished by the teacher was what he deserved.
To be checked?in the airport is a routine.
要點：
能做主語的謂語動詞有：to do, to be done, doing, being done，
doing表示經常的動作；to do表示一次的，具體的動作。
2. 固定句型
It is easier?to expend?money than to keep it.
It is no use / useless crying over spilled milk.
There is no point regretting what has happened.

經常用it作形式主語，固定句型如下：
It be + adj. (+ for sb.) +?to do sth.;

1. 固定搭配
1) 只能接to do做賓語的動詞：
decide / determine, expect / hope / wish, refuse, manage, pretend,?offer, promise, plan/intend,?agree, afford, threaten, happen, wait等

2) 只能用doing作賓語的動詞：
consider, suggest/advise,?admit, mention, delay / put off / postpone, fancy / feel like, avoid,?keep/keep on, practice,?deny, finish, enjoy/appreciate,?forbid, imagine, risk, stand/bear,?mind, allow/permit, escape

3) to do, doing 來者不拒
Remember to go to the post office after school.?

forget / remember / regret doing：動作已發(fā)生
stop to do /?go on to do：另一件事情
stop doing /?go on doing：同一件事情
mean to do：打算做…
mean doing：意味著做…

4) 有人 to do，沒人 doing
allow / permit / forbid / advise sb?to do

2. 介詞 +?doing

to do, doing, done都可以置于系動詞后作表語，主要用法如下：
不定式
- 表示具體、將來的動作

動名詞
- 表示多次、抽象的動作
- My?hobby?is?drawing?pictures.
現在分詞
- 可作為形容詞，譯為令人…的
- His?progress?in?English?is?amazing.
過去分詞
- 可作為形容詞，譯為感到…的
- We?are?amazed?at?his?progress?in?English.
