這一天，劍橋大學(xué)副校長、安生學(xué)校發(fā)展指導(dǎo)委員會主席David Cardwell教授闊別三年重返安生，為安生學(xué)子帶來最前沿、最頂尖的教育理念。

這一天，國內(nèi)外教育專家齊聚安生，共同探討多重視角下的學(xué)生成長與規(guī)劃。

February 26, 2023 is destined to be a landmark day in the history of Shanghai Thomas School.

On this day, Shanghai Thomas School 3.0 press conference and the awarding ceremony of the Shanghai Base of the China Excellence Identification Scheme(CEIS) were held grandly.

On this day, Professor David Cardwell, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge and Chairman of the Thomas School Development Steering Committee returned to Thomas after three years, bringing the most cutting-edge and top-notch educational concepts to STS students.

On this day, education experts from home and abroad gathered in STS to discuss student growth and planning from multiple perspectives.

2月26日，上海安生學(xué)校星空廳里，賓朋滿座。劍橋大學(xué)副校長David Cardwell教授親臨學(xué)校，與教育界專家同仁、安生教育集團(tuán)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、上海安生學(xué)校師生家長共同見證上海安生學(xué)校里程碑式的時刻。

On February 26, the Star Hall of Shanghai Thomas School was full of guests and talents. Professor David Cardwell, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, visited the school, and witnessed the milestone moment of STS together with education experts, leaders of Ambright Education Group, and parents, teachers and students of STS.

PART01

“將世界最前沿的教育理念和資源引進(jìn)中國，培養(yǎng)學(xué)??向未來的核?素養(yǎng)”。在歡迎辭中，安生教育集團(tuán)董事長、上海安生學(xué)校理事長張梧華先生坦誠地說到。

"We introduce the world's most cutting-edge educational concepts and resources into China, and cultivate students' core literacy for the future," said Mr. Zhang Wuhua, Chairman of Ambright Education Group and chairman of STS in his welcome speech.?

多年來，在安生教育集團(tuán)的支持下，上海安生學(xué)校積極實施STEAM 融合課程體系，推進(jìn)PBL 項?式學(xué)習(xí)、IBET 融合課程及?級實驗室研究課程，他表示，辦讓人民滿意的教育，是安生的義務(wù)，也是安生的責(zé)任。安生也將繼續(xù)奮楫篤行，用實際行動踐行為黨育人、為國育才的初心。

Over the years, with the support of Ambright Education Group, STS has actively implemented the STEAM integration curriculum system, and promoted PBL project-based learning, IBET integration courses and advanced laboratory research courses. He said that it is Ambright's obligation and responsibility to provide education that satisfies the people. Ambright will also continue to work hard and use practical actions to practice the original intention of educating people for the Party and cultivating talents for the country.

劍橋大學(xué)副校長、安生學(xué)校發(fā)展指導(dǎo)委員會主席David Cardwell教授為大家?guī)怼秳驍y手安生，國際化學(xué)校的創(chuàng)新與融合》主題演講。作為劍橋大學(xué)招生官，David教授與大家分享了自己在中國的招生經(jīng)歷，以及與安生教育集團(tuán)長達(dá)二十余年的不解之緣。

Professor David Cardwell delivered a keynote speech on "Cambridge and Ambright, Innovation and Integration of International Schools". As an admissions officer of Cambridge University, Professor David shared his experience in China and his unbreakable bond with Ambright Education Group for more than 20 years.

David教授特別提到了艾思特（AST）考試在劍橋大學(xué)招生中發(fā)揮的舉足輕重的作用。作為中國首個國際標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化大學(xué)入學(xué)考試，AST由劍橋大學(xué)資深測試專家與安生教育科學(xué)研究院的中國知名高考專家聯(lián)合命題，為以劍橋大學(xué)為首的世界一流大學(xué)遴選招收中國學(xué)生。在David教授看來，安生學(xué)校非常注重挖掘?qū)W生的潛能，給予學(xué)生充分發(fā)揮主體作用的空間，并通過儲英工程等項目，幫助學(xué)生掌握知識與技能，培育品格，一步步走向世界頂級名校。

Professor Cardwell specifically mentioned the pivotal role played by the AST exam in the admissions of Cambridge University. As China's first internationally standardized university entrance examination, AST is jointly set by senior test experts from Cambridge University and well-known Chinese college entrance examination experts from Ambright Educational Science Research Institute, and selects Chinese students for world-class universities such as Cambridge University. In Professor Cardwell’s view, Thomas School attaches great importance to tapping the potential of students, giving students the space to play their main role, and through programmes such as the Fabulinous Project, it helps students to master knowledge and skills, cultivate character, and move step by step into the world’s top schools.

作為安生學(xué)校PBL總導(dǎo)師，David Cardwell教授還特別與安生師生和家長面對面，共同探討PBL教學(xué)如何更好地賦能學(xué)習(xí)，以及家庭教育如何推動學(xué)生勝任力培養(yǎng)等問題。

As the chief PBL instructor of Thomas School, Prof. Cardwell also met face-to-face with teachers, students and parents of STS to discuss how PBL teaching can better empower learning, and how family education can promote the development of students' competence.?

他表示，劍橋大學(xué)十分注重學(xué)生思考能力和問題解決能力的考察，他希望家長們能夠?qū)Ｗ⒂诤⒆拥拈L處，為他們提供各種嘗試的機(jī)會，幫助他們突出問題導(dǎo)向，在實踐中學(xué)習(xí)，培養(yǎng)主動學(xué)習(xí)意識、創(chuàng)新能力以及批判性思維。

He said that Cambridge University attaches great importance to the examination of students' thinking ability and problem-solving ability. He hopes that parents can focus on their children's strengths, provide them with various opportunities to try, help them highlight problem orientation, learn by doing, and cultivate active learning awareness, innovative ability and critical thinking.

作為安生教育科學(xué)研究院和以英國劍橋大學(xué)為首的多所國際頂尖大學(xué)的官方合作項目，世界名校中國英才遴選中心是一個致力于遴選在中國就讀國家課程和部分國際課程的優(yōu)秀高中學(xué)生進(jìn)入世界著名大學(xué)接受一流本科教育的非盈利項目。

As an official cooperation project between Ambright Educational Science Research Institute and many top international universities headed by the University of Cambridge, the CEIS is dedicated to selecting outstanding high school students who are studying national courses and some international courses in China to enter the world famous universities.

The leaders of Shanghai Thomas School received the plaque from Professor David Cardwell and Chairman Zhang Wuhua. So far, the Shanghai Base of CEIS has officially settled in Shanghai Thomas School which will build a bridge for more STS students to the world's top famous universities.

In the past five years since its establishment, STS students have worked hand in hand to pursue their dreams, creating one success after another. Yu Fen, Director of Admissions, introduced the fruitful achievements of STS students and the Fabulinous Project to help students grow.?

With the support of the School Development Steering Committee led by Professor David Cardwell, the results of the Fabulinous Project are impressive. A total of 137 admissions from 48 world-renowned universities were obtained by the graduates of the two sessions, and 100% of them were admitted to the top 100 universities in the world. The first batch of high school graduates won offers from Cambridge University, Imperial College, UCL, Nanyang Technological and other top universities.
