King Boo's Revenge X is a Super Mario 64 hack created by thebloody7. In this video, I complete Animosity Mansions without savestates. Stars are at these times:

0:12 - ! Box Jumping

1:54 - Hidden Star

2:38 - Annoying Wallkicks

5:00 - Hidden Warp in Eclipse of the Devourer

6:38 - Red Coin Star + Path to Final Battle

Wasn't a huge fan of this level and a big part of that is the annoying wallkicks star. Those wallkicks are tough to learn and go on for way too long, they're just not a fun design choice. The path to the Bowser fight had some cool stuff but it was kinda long and I was just eager to wrap up the game and have it 100% completed, so I was a bit impatient.

That concludes my playthrough of KBRX. It's comfortably my 3rd favorite extreme hack after Treasure World and KBR2. Probably ranks 6th-10th in my favorite hacks overall. Great game but has it's flaws and rage moments. Eclipse of Fusion was my favorite level and having an all-time great level like that really cemented it and closed some of the gap between KBRX and TW/KBR2 but I still like those two games better.

My main criticisms of the game are that it relies a bit too heavily on gimmicks even when they aren't particularly fun. I could be wrong but it feels like some stuff is thrown in there just because it's creative even though it isn't fun (the aforementioned annoying wallkicks in this video are sort of an example, although not as gimmicky as stuff like the light chuckya star). I didn't like that the hardest star in the game had RNG play a big part in it (and I really just didn't like playing that star in general). I was hoping for something in the same vein as the Dark Obelisk to be the hardest star but this game really lacks that signature star and level. There are also A LOT of spots in this hack where your view is obstructed during a jump where you easily could've been allowed to see better and you might die unfairly because of this.

Despite my criticisms, this is overall a fantastic hack. It has very high highs and pretty low lows, but the same can be said of any good extreme hack, including the two I rank above KBRX.
