UK to start human vaccine trials

The number of patients in hospital with COVID-19 symptoms is now down to 17681. 17366 people have sadly died in hospital, which is an increase of 852. We will throw everything we got at developing a vaccine. The UK is at the forefront of global effort, we have put more money than any other country into the global search for a vaccine, and for all the efforts around the world, two of the leading vaccine developments taking place here at home at Oxford and imperial. Both of these promising projects are making rapid progress, and I ‘ve told the scientists leading them that we’ll do everything in our power to support.
