When I was seven, I flew from NYC to Amsterdam overnight on a 747. I was in coach class, of course. I got to sit in the pilot''''s chair while I chatted with the guy. You could see every star in the sky way up there. I was literally seven years old, sitting at the controls of a 747. One of the true highlights of my life.

@J the amount of G forces the plane experienced made it impossible for him to get back in the seat to take control of the plane...I saw this story..please research before responding and calling people stupid...

In asia its usually called the V sign, for Victory sign because this is what the soldiers would pose in pictures with at the end of ww2

@Windy He said it was a UPS flight. That means only pilots where on board, no crew. UPS carries cargo, remember? Therfore only the boy and pilots could have been in danger. We all know UPS does not care about cargo.

@Windy it was a 767 only 1 other crew and the plane was on the ground. Just as I’m sure the photo referenced in the article.

Before 911, most American Airlines and pilots were glad to show you the flight decks as good will. I enjoy the showmanship and their hospitality. These good acts gave me more confidence about flying that airlines. However, the Asia mentality was totally difference. I wish those pilots can get a job elsewhere where people appreciate their skills.
