A month passed without noticing and Daolon Wong didn’t ever appear. At first, everyone was worried, not knowing he was planning what schedule in the shadow. However, gradually the worry receded, and life returned to normal. Perhaps Daolon Wong had been thoroughly in awe of the team, daring not to be confronted with them anymore.

More than ten years had passed when Hsi Wu was still like a middle school student and Jade had grown up to an adult, serving as a charming female police officer in Section 13.

One day, Jade went home with an unopened reel.

“Honey, turn around, I have a surprise for you.”

Hsi Wu turned about and covered his eyes, guessing Jade’s present.

However, after a while, Hsi Wu just sniffed a smell of magic, a sound of metal striking the floor, followed by Jade’s weeping.

“What’s up?” Hsi Wu turned around, only to see the reel is a map of the world cast aside, and a dagger lying at his feet. Jade was weeping, kneeling on the floor.

“What’s this!” Hsi Wu sensed the smell of magic was from the dagger.

“You want to kill me!” He was astonished.

“But I can’t manage to do it finally!” said Jade with tears.

“Chi Master Fong visited me and said that you would be the peril of the world after I died. He gave me the demon-killing dagger and commanded that I think from the stand of all human beings, not from my own happiness and sorrows.”

“But I am at last unable to leave you.” Crying, Jade hugged Hsi Wu who had been one foot lower than her.

Hsi Wu pushed her away and turned around.

“Mayhap Chi Master Fong was right. I also don’t want to leave you in a dilemma.”

Hsi Wu turned about quickly, picked up the dagger, and thrust it into his chest.

Hsi Wu sat up in haste from the sofa in the Rare Finds surrounded by darkness. The date on the electronic clock was still 2002.

The chest seemed a little ached but stung by the copper coin necklace.

However, the quickening heartbeats in the dream were taken to reality and grew graver. Tso Lan, Po Kong, Bai Tza, Shendu… Hsi Wu felt the air was filled with extremely chaotic breaths.

“Oops! Abnormal movements!” Hsi Wu jumped off the sofa in haste and woke up everyone in the house.

“Aiiee-yaahh! Who disturbed Uncle’s sound dream!” Uncle stretched.

“Uncle, bad news, the seven Demon Chi in Section 13 are in great peril. I must search at once. You also think up a way.”

“Aiiee-yaahh! You felt it?”

“Very strong!” Hsi Wu rushed out of the door of the shop.

In the dead of night, Hsi Wu broke into the Demon Chi Storage in Section 13, only to find the glass jar for storing Demon Chi broken.

“Indeed!”

Following his sense, Hsi Wu found three Demon Chi of Water, Wind, and Thunder within Section 13 and inhaled them. However, he only felt the breath of other chi growing farther and farther. Abruptly, the breath disappeared all of a sudden.

“Oops! Daolon Wong may have got them!”

Hsi Wu returned to the Rare Finds, where Jackie was calling other members of J-Team to inform them of this emergency. Uncle and Tohru were studying magic in the study.

“What’s the situation? Are all accounted for?” asked Jade.

“Only three.”

“Uncle was busy studying a new jar for storing,” said Jade.

“There is no need. Let him study the way to trace Demon Chi now instead,” said Hsi Wu.

“But didn’t you say you would feel uncomfortable with so many Chi? And is it stable?”

“I have deceived you before. The more Demon Chi, the more powerful I am. How could I be uncomfortable? And my body is much more stable than Uncle’s storing device.”

“Aiiee-yaahh! Why didn’t you tell us this earlier?” Hearing Hsi Wu’s words, Uncle walked out of the study and gave a two-fingered slapping to Hsi Wu.

“If I kept so many Demon Chi, you would be too careful to beware of me.”

“Hsi Wu, how could you say this? We have already taken you as one of our fellows.” Jackie said after he hang up the phone.

“In fact, none of you ever trust me thoroughly,” said Hsi Wu solemnly. Others could not retort a single word.

“Including myself.” Hsi Wu himself also bowed his head.

“Never mind.” Hsi Wu looked up. “I felt the breath of all Demon Chi disappear at one time, which is hard to explain. Daolon Wong has probably inhaled them.”

“Aiiee-yaahh! What could we do now?”

“There will be a fierce battle.” Hsi Wu twisted his fist.

After breakfast, Hsi Wu paced around in the shop with his hands on his waist; Uncle and Tohru continued to study the magic. However, they seemed to keep busy to look less panicked than to do research. Everyone was mindless, not knowing the way.

Suddenly, the phone rang. It was Captain Black who called in.

“Jackie, someone was digging a tunnel, going to break into Section 13 at once!”

“The magic of Dai Gui! Daolon Wong comes!” After saying this, Hsi Wu flew out of the shop and broke into Section 13 like when it was dawn.

“Seymour!” Jade was about to go out when she was stopped by Jackie Chan.

“Jade, Hsi Wu is right. There will be a fierce battle,” said Jackie. “Jade, you stay here in the shop with Uncle and Tohru. I go to Section 13 to visit Captain Black.”

On arriving at the talisman storage room of Section 13, Hsi Wu caught the three Dark Chi Warriors having put the 12 talismans into a bag. This time, they had some features of Dai Gui, Tchang Zu, and Shendu, apparently holding Demon Chi.

The moment Hsi Wu burst into the storage room, a thick mud wall reared up in front of him.

However, Hsi Wu with four kinds of Demon Chi was more powerful now. He rushed through the mud wall directly like a bullet.

The three Dark Chi Warriors fled in haste through the tunnel and now and again puffed fires, emitted lightning, or set up mud walls to hinder Hsi Wu.

These hindrances could not harm Hsi Wu now but left him unable to speed up. Chasing them far, he still could not catch the three Dark Chi Warriors.

The Warriors arrived at the end of the tunnel – Golden Gate Bridge. Daolon Wong stood on the bridge and sniffed fiercely, inhaling all of the Demon Chi of the Warriors into his body.

Hsi Wu also burst out of the tunnel, only to see Daolon Wong holding up his hands over his head, above which the 12 talismans formed a circle and turned into a beam of light, slipping into Daolon Wong’s body. His eyes at once became gleaming and flickering.

“What! You take in the power of Shendu’s talismans!” Hsi Wu knew that the Fire Demon Chi plus the 12 talismans nearly equaled Shendu himself, not to mention Daolon Wong kept three other kinds of Demon Chi. He had had no way to retreat now.

“Welcome, Master Hsi Wu,” said Daolon Wong laughing. “Have the final battle today!”

“Let’s!”

“Hsi Wu and Daolon Wong floated above the bridge. They did not fight with the body but used their respective inner power to inhale the opposite sides’ Demon Chi.”

“What is our master doing? Competing meditation with Hsi Wu?” wondered Cobra.

“Fool! Master is competing with magic against Hsi Wu,” said Ice.

At this moment, Jackie, Captain Black, and a few policemen came to the Golden Gate Bridge. Cobra and Fist took out their weapons and were ready for fighting.

“Don’t hurry, my guys, we’d better just wait for our master’s victory! Don’t need to waste our energy on these minions,” said Ice.

“Ice, don’t be too happy. No matter what the outcome is, you won’t have a good ending,” said Jackie.

But the folks on the bridge did not fight indeed. They just looked up at the sky where Hsi Wu and Daolon Wong floated, swirling like two stars.

Hsi Wu felt an immense inhaling force assaulting him. Resisting Daolon Wong’s magic had made him breathe and sweat heavily. He couldn’t have imagined Daolon Wong’s power had been so strong that he could not stay even if he had a great adhesive force for Demon Chi. And Daolon Wong seemed to see the hope with a gradual smile emerging on his face.

The purple light struck him in an instant, who dropped from the air. Four beams of light gave out from Hsi Wu and shone on Daolon Wong, three of which were bright and one of which was faint and weak.

Hsi Wu dropped down to the ground. At this time Jade also came: Uncle and Tohru finally could not stop her. Jackie and Jade hurriedly came to support him to stand up.

“Doom news, Daolon Wong has had eight kinds of Demon Chi,” said Hsi Wu weakly.

“My God! Then you…” Jade felt panicked. She did not know what would come of a demon if he lost his chi.

“I am fine still for I still kept most of the Sky Demon Chi. But now we really have no way.” Hsi Wu said in a despairing tone.

“Hahaha!” Daolon Wong laughed in the sky. Sullen clouds spread from due above, veiling the sun, and covering the entire sky. Even not only the sky of San Francisco but California, the US, the Globe…

“Master, don’t forget us!” Ice and the other two cried on the ground.

“You? Go aside!” Saying this, Daolon Wong also took their Dark Chi into his body. The three instantly turned back to common humans.

“Ah! Master, you cannot betray your promise!” The three got panicked. Captain Black and some policemen cuffed the hands of Ice, Cobra, and Fist. However, in the scenery of doomsday, handcuffing them was nothing but the last symbolic upholds of the dignity of laws.

A blast by Daolon Wong directly cleaved the Golden Gate Bridge from the center.

“The world, destroys!” Daolon Wong flew away and imposed blasts on every part of the city. He did not strike Hsi Wu and others more. In his eyes, they were all ants now, no need to care.

Jackie’s phone rang. It was Uncle who called in.

“Hello, Jackie. What’s going on? Why does the sky become so dark!”

“Uncle, Daolon Wong inhaled Eight Demon Chi, you quickly thought up a way!” said Jackie in haste, only to hear the receiver on the other end drop on the ground.

“Eight Demon Chi were together. I’m afraid there is no way,” said Hsi Wu.

In the Rare Finds, Uncle and Tohru did not know what to do.

Knocks came at this time.

“The shop is closed!” Uncle had no mood.

“The shop has been closed!” Uncle said angrily but still opened the door.

“Aiiee-yaahh!” Only to see Finn, Ratso, Chow, and Hak Foo standing in front of the door.

Finn and the other three stepped on the ladder, looking for ingredients at every corner of the shop. Tohru sat at the experimental table and prepared the magic solution. Uncle was reading magic books and conducting others.

Tohru got ready a bottle of magic solution planned to remove the Eight Demon Chi. However, the solution instantly seethed to foams and boiled itself. The glass bottle broke to pieces.

“Alas! We fail at last.” Uncle hanged his head.

At this time, a bolt of fire light hit the shop, whose ceiling was to fall.

“Sensei! Run!” Tohru and Hak Foo supported the ceiling when Uncle and others ran outdoors in haste. Tohru and Hak Foo also retreated following them. The house collapsed just after they left.

On Golden Gate Bridge, a bus did not brake in time and was to drop into the strait from the break of the bridge.

“Ah!” The passengers on the bus were screaming in panic.

Captain Black took a rope, one end of which was tied to the bus and the other was tied to one pillar of the bridge. Jackie, Black, Hsi Wu, Jade, and some policeman pulled together. The dropping bus stopped coming down temporarily.

“Viper?” Jackie’s eyes flickered.

“Don’t forget me!” said Paco.

The bus was dragged up slowly, out of which the passengers walked. They were touched to tears and expressed thanks to Jackie and others.

The last to come out was the driver, who was clad in green and pressed his cap rather low, covering half the face.

“Valmont!” When he walked near Jackie, he was still recognized. Valmont pressed his cap lower and left hurriedly.

Suddenly, Daolon Wong came to above the Golden Gate Bridge again, emitting bolts of blasts.

“Oops! Leave here at once!” People on the bridge cried and fled, which was bombed into several segments.

The rain of fire fell from the sky. Jakcie took Viper, Hsi Wu took Jade, El Toro took Paco, and Captain Black ran alone. The seven ran and dodged into a shelter – Jade’s school.

“You are also here!” Only to see Uncle and Tohru be there.

“Not only us, but also them!” Behind Tohru were Finn and others, and behind Finn and others were Miss Hartman, Drew, and other students.

The electricity had been cut off and black clouds covered the city. The school was so dark. There came the sound of weeps from the corner unseen.

Another rumble came as if Daolon Wong struck the school. The entire building began to collapse. A metal object rolled downstairs from the upper floor and rolled to Jade’s feet. Jade took it up, only to see that it was the trophy she and Hsi Wu won at the last Spring Dance.

Hsi Wu hurriedly closed his eyes and handed together, reciting a peculiar spell. The falling tendency of the building was halted.

“Seymour, I said you will have a way!” said Drew.

Hsi Wu took the trophy over from Jade’s hand, touching the texture of the metal.

“It won’t be long before this year’s Spring Dance. Jade, how longing am I for another golden prize with you!” said Hsi Wu.

“We will! Absolutely we will!” said Jade.

In the dead of darkness, everyone did not speak anymore, only leaving the faint sound of weeping.

Hsi Wu put down the trophy, stood up, left the hall, and walked to the corner.

“Is he betraying us to follow Daolon Wong? After all, he is a demon.” Not knowing who was speaking in the dark.

“He won’t. I believe in him. It’s for our trust that Seymour has most been longing for so long time,” retorted Jade at once.

“The same sound to echo, the same Chi to seek!”

The seven demons appeared one after another in the mirror.

“Hsi Wu, you think of us again? Have you understood? We are after all destined to rule the world,” said Bai Tza.

“Why do you still look like this, making me hungry on purpose!” said Po Kong.

“Daolon Wong took in the Eight Demon Chi.” Hsi Wu did not react to these questions and said without facial expressions.

“What? What did you say?”

“Daolon Wong, took in, the Eight Demon Chi.”

“Do you know once the Eight Forces are together, they cannot be apart?” said Tso Lan.

“I know. But I still want to ask you for other possible methods. I’m also here to say farewell.”

“We have no method in the Netherworld,” said Tso Lan.

“Hsi Wu, how did you fall into this situation?” said Tchang Zu.

“Is it the outcome of cooperating with Jackie Chan?” said Bai Tza.

“I have made up my mind,” Hsi Wu closed the mirror.
