Chinese traditional painting is one of the "four traditional talents" in my culture. Generally it is conclude to two types of painting, which are “xieyi（freehand brush work）” and “gongbi（realistic kind）”. "Xieyi" is more about tracing the concept of a creature and people's feelings towards them rather than depicting every single detail. While"gongbi" shares includes detail of the creatures and it usually take more than five times of "dying" to finish one piece of work. Picture5 here is actually one of the "gongbi" work. Chinese traditional painting can come to live on a variety of kind of paper. It can well be made into illustration on paper fans and bookmarks. Picture7 is an example of bookmark painting I once drew about the plants in four seasons.
