If Google was not banned definitely without a doubt Huawei would have been the No 1 smart phones in the world, as they dominated back in the days when there were no restrictions from Google for 3 consecutive years 2014, 2015, 2016 Tey were No 1 in the world.

It looks really nice, hardware-wise. But... with no Google services, no 5G, and then pricing it a whopping 50% more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 (prices will be from eur 2200,- in the EU), this is going to be a very niche folding smartphone

Watching this on my Huawei Mate 50 Pro without Google services.
Not having Google spyware it's actually a good thing.
And also a good thing for battery life and cheaper price is not having a 5G modem.
4G it's plenty for watching 4K videos.
5G would mean I have to spend a lot more on my network bills and drain the battery much quicker because 5G loses connection very often which means it would have to switch between antennas all the time.
So 4G is cheaper to produce, cheaper for me to pay on phone bills, has better battery life, better coverage.
5G in Europe it's basically a scam or a useless feature at the very least for the next few years.

The OS Huawei uses seems more user friendly and capable, feature rich in daily usage, like how you can add apps to the swipe down menu and many others you've shown. I am not sure yet if you mean that the Harmony OS supports Android apk/apps natively, even though Google Play is absent. I can surely do without Google's awful software. For anyone that uses Windows devices this is second nature. I never miss anything Google when I'm on my Windows laptop or tablet.

Like what others have said, it's too bad that Huawei got neutered because of politics. I would definitely consider this, but without Google apps, 5G and the HIGH price tag i can only admire this from afar(and on YouTube). Right now im rocking a Fold 3 and a Google Pixel 6 Pro and i look forward to see what the Pixel Fold brings to the table. I just like the UI of the Pixel, the haptics and the camera so if they can bring that experience to the Pixel Fold I'm sold(even with the high price tag). I've also been looking at the Vivo X Fold 2, OPPO Find N2, and feel like the Fold 4 is an iterative upgrade so I probably wouldn't get that. And I would just sell my afforementioned phones to mitigate the cost. Thank you for the video though ?????

Had a P20 pro and absolutely loved that phone, to bad that don't use google service's and have 5g , They do make amazing products.
