一、單詞記憶

這個單詞是由3個部分組成的，前面的部分是tra，這個我們可以復習一下初中學習的單詞，transport，這個單詞中的trans是一個詞根，表示across，“從一邊到另一邊”的意思。后面的port是港口的意思，所以transport，從一個港口到另一個港口，這個就是“運輸”的意思。我們把trans后面的ns省略，tra也表示across，“從一邊到另一邊”的意思。

接下來我們來看一下這個單詞中間的dit。我們前幾天剛講過edit，“編輯”這個單詞。它是由兩部分組成的，前面的字母e就相當于ex表示out，“出去”的意思，后面的dit是一個詞根，表示“贈送，給予”的意思。所以edit就是給出去的意思，書籍，文章就是作者給出去，進行了“編輯，校訂”后再進行出版，發(fā)表的。

tra，從一邊到另一邊，這里應該是從一代到另一代，dit，“給”，后面加上ion，名詞后綴，tradition就是一代一代給下來的東西，這個就是“傳統(tǒng)”。
