For younger students, for primary school students, at least they have to learn how to take good care of themselves ,like to dress probably, to obey school rules
For high school students or above, they have to learn how to arrange the time properly ,how to do the time management ,how to cooperate with other peers
As schools are a miniature society, students have to practice how put up with each other

It is just some will learn things rather fast whereas other will not .

There shouldn't be any stereotypes towards old people
I mean some old people still have lots of curiosity towards new things.
And they would like to keep pace with the changing world
As a result , it doesn't matter whether they're old or young .
As long as they want to learn , they will pick up new technologies, learn new things
Also, nowadays the new technologies, like mobile phones and suchlike are quiet user friendly
So, it's easy for non tech savvies to pick up new skills
