Wild was initially released with the intention of giving people a taste of what was to come from Blue Neighbourhood.

Troye announced the release in mid-2015 at VidCon in Anaheim, California.

Heavily influenced by what he was listening to at the time, Blue Neighbourhood was recorded mostly in Los Angeles and has been Troye's biggest masterpiece to date.

Not content with having a say in the sound and the production aspects of the album, Troye also had a hand in creating the beautiful adesign and colour scheme of the record.

Talking to Instagram to express her happiness about the cover of Wild, Hsaio-Ron posted: "Album art I did for @troyesivan! So happy some of you guys recognized my work and told me it's out now even before I noticed. Absolutely an honour to work with Troye and his team!"

When working on the album cover for Blue Neighbourhood, Hsaio-Ron made two options.

當(dāng)為《藍(lán)色街區(qū)》制作專輯封面時(shí)，Hsaio-Ron制作了兩個(gè)版本。

One was for the standard version of the album, which had a 'light' cover and one for the deluxe version, which featured a much darker shade of blue.

The standard release has 10 songs while the deluxe release has 16.

While Troye felt completing 16 songs was quite hard, he's said he's proud of the works, as they're an accurate musical representation of who he is as a person.
