Shenyang is gradually entering an aging society, and the problems of elderly, disabled, and empty nesters' difficulty in cooking and eating are becoming increasingly prominent.?Many elderly people who have to stay at home due to aging or illness. They are also known as left behind elderly people whose children work in other cities and cannot take care of them. The situation of these left-behind elderly people is very bad. For some elderly people who are aging, their transportation has become a big problem because their children leave them, so they need to rely on external help. A lot of elderly people who take care of themselves at home cannot afford the high cost of care, so they need to endure severe pain and take care of themselves without their own company. The Shenyang Civil Affairs Bureau announced the situation of about?600000 elderly people left- behind in Shenyang due to illness or physical inconvenience.

In Shenyang, many young people choose to leave their parents and go to more

developed cities to work hard. But these elderly people choose to stay in Shenyang for

retirement due to physical factors accompanying them. These left-behind elderly people have?significant psychological problems, and their suicide rate is also relatively high. Due to daily travel issues, many left-behind elderly people choose not to go out, which can make their lives facing many challenges.?

Our group plans to establish a small nonprofit organization to help these local elderly left behind.

We will provide some supplies for them, help the elder people get the medical aid, bring free lunch, offer accompany for them, as college students, we will create advertisements to promote this matter in schools and encourage more people to donate food or lend a helping hand.?We will practice the local community to determine the status and number of left behind elderly people, and we will also contact the Chinese Elderly Character Federation for assistance from this organization. This foundation focuses on the living conditions and challenges faced by the elderly in China, and they will provide us with some financial assistance.

We plan to recruit 3 to 5 volunteers to help us complete this plan. Volunteers pair up with empty nest elderly people and regularly provide services at their homes. We mainly provide services such as visiting and greeting, daily cooking, and problem-solving, and promptly report the situation and difficulties of the elderly to the community.

3.?Volunteers complete the pairing work between volunteers and the elderly under the guidance of the street.

4.?It is better to have the skills and experience of nursing staff, medicine, psychology, social work, psychological consultation, rehabilitation, etc.
