As a US native I always knew these things to be true and I came to these conclusions based on rational observation. Trying to express this perspective is almost impossible and has definitely resulted in a more isolated lifestyle bc people regard me as a crazy person for not believing blindly that America is “#1”.

during my working years I traveled to 6 continents (some multiple times in various locations) and found my favorite nations were Denmark, Japan, and New Zealand. The modern infrastructure, better quality health care, better quality food and freedoms equal to ours made them all very pleasant. The people of all nations I visited were always open, friendly and helpful. I always felt safe even though I traveled alone (even got in a few ' 'slums'), I always felt safe, but I will not go alone on many US streets and especially after dark.
