[Arknights] Whisperain-centered Fanfiction – Coming Across Rhodes Island

5 Years Later
Barren land, Sargon
I have traveled in the desert for five days. Now the car from Rhodes Island is overheated and waiting to repair. But there is nothing but sand around us, so the leader of the group calls for help. I met them the second day I stepped into this barren land of Sargon. They were having conflicts with a remote tribe, and I happened to come across this scene. The soldiers from the tribe retreated, but most of the operators were hurt, so I decided to help them. The operators are from different countries, but most of them are infected. Since I have been doing this for years, the pain-soothing and curing process doesn't take very long. My originium art of curing has helped some of them out, and they have invited me to their home ship. At first, I refused to go, because I'm just a traveler, and I was afraid that I would hurt other's feelings. I'm in a special clan of Aegir, where all the members got the ability to "rejuvenate". My body is so weak that even a hard object hitting my head would take my life. Whenever I die, my body would return to its juvenile state and regrow, but my memories of the past are lost. So if I got too close to somebody and I died, the act of not recognizing others would hurt their feelings. However, I need to travel across this desert, so their car would be the most suitable transportation for me. Also, the operators informed me that their home ship also travels around the world and the idea of their company is to find a way to cure the Oripathy and save as many lives as possible. This matches my goal, which is to make people's lives a little less painful. So I agreed at last.
Now I'm in their car, traveling in the sand. In the wind, dust and sand fly. The views alongside are amazing. As I look out, I can see the vast desert landscape. The sun sets in the distance, casting a soft orange glow on the sand dunes. Exactly what "Sargon Legends" showed. I kept the ticket for that movie in my pocket. On the ticket, the words "Longmen Cinema" were printed. I felt like I was in the movie world, the same world I saw on the theater screen. I was in the middle of a Sargon Legends journey. The operators drive and chat excitedly, discussing what cuisine they would try when they reach town. But my mind was calm. I felt the sensation of the sand and the wind. The setting sun and the warm air combined to form a peaceful atmosphere. I could feel my worries and anxieties slowly fading away.
Soon, night falls, and darkness engulfs us. I looked up at the sky and saw a million stars twinkling brightly. I closed my eyes and felt the silence of the night, but it didn't last long...
Suddenly, a strange noise came from the car and it stopped.
"Wait...I can't control the throttle! It doesn't work!" The operator in the driver's seat called out.
"Oh no..."
"We are in the middle of the desert, and you said it's not working?!"
"Does anyone here know how to fix a car?"
"I wish the guys from the engineering department were here..."
"Guys, don't panic! I'm contacting headquarters!"
