樂(lè)園告示喇叭：「黛依阿的三日遐想」之「黑水晶號(hào)與吞金海怪」，正式開(kāi)幕……

This performance of "The Black Nacre and the All-Devouring Kraken," a play from "Daiya's Three-Day Reverie," will now begin!

nacre = mother of pearl 珍珠母、珠母層（和中文含蓄的neta相比，英文這么譯還真是明顯hhh）

Kraken = 挪威傳說(shuō)中的海怪，在《加勒比海盜》第二部中也有出現(xiàn)

（碎碎念：再加上后面出現(xiàn)的人物和劇情……這個(gè)故事就是在捏他加勒比海盜以及模仿迪士尼的加勒比海盜項(xiàng)目吧，沒(méi)有配音真的是太可惜了，像是上迪那個(gè)加勒比海盜項(xiàng)目的配音超贊的……想念去年的惡龍了 _(:з」∠)_ ）

來(lái)自喇叭的旁白（用力過(guò)猛的聲線）：距離藏寶地最近的海港中，海盜船「黑水晶」號(hào)正在補(bǔ)充人員與物資，為最后也是最關(guān)鍵的一段航行做準(zhǔn)備……

Narrator On Speaker (Over-the-Top Voice): Docked in the port closest to the rumored location of the treasure, the crew of the pirate ship "Black Nacre" is recruiting new sailors and restocking before the final and most crucial leg of the voyage...

leg = a stage of a journey, race etc.

經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富的冒險(xiǎn)家們登上了「黑水晶」號(hào)的甲板。他們是杰出的戰(zhàn)斗專家，但在航海領(lǐng)域尚且只是新人……

Experienced adventurers set foot on the deck of the Black Nacre. They're outstanding fighters, but novice sailors...

大副（穩(wěn)重可靠的長(zhǎng)輩）：那邊的新人，快過(guò)來(lái)快過(guò)來(lái)！

Chief Mate (Trustworthy Elder): Ahoy there, landlubbers! Get on over here!

ahoy = used to hail a ship, a boat or a person, or to attract attention 水手招呼遠(yuǎn)處的人或船只的喊聲（在去年海島活動(dòng)劇情中，會(huì)說(shuō)話的浪船大肉丸也用了這個(gè)詞）

landlubber = [old use] someone unfamiliar with the sea or seamanship, especially a novice seaman 不諳航海的人、旱鴨子

派蒙：咦，喇叭里的聲音變了，好像是個(gè)很嚴(yán)肅的人在朝我們這邊呼喊……

Huh? The voice from the speaker changed. It sounds like someone really serious is calling us...

派蒙：難道說(shuō)，這個(gè)聲音是在和我們互動(dòng)？

So, it's trying to interact with us?

大副：當(dāng)然了！你們是新人里的骨干，少了你們可不行！

scallywag / scalawag = a disreputable fellow, a good-for-nothing, a scapegrace, a blackguard 無(wú)賴、混球

大副：我是這艘「黑水晶」號(hào)的大副。接下來(lái)這段時(shí)間，你們就要跟著我混了！

I'm the Chief Mate of the Black Nacre! You'll be working with me on this voyage, savvy?

savvy = to know, understand; get the idea

大副：打起精神來(lái)！今天你們剛到任，廚師長(zhǎng)會(huì)用上好的肉脯、奶油、硬餅干和蒲公英酒招待你們！

Perk up, sailors! It's your first day on deck, and our quartermaster will make sure you get the best preserved meat, cream, hardtack, and Dandelion Wine!

perk (sb) up = to become or to make sb become more cheerful or lively, especially after they have been ill or sad

quartermaster = 軍需官（漫畫(huà)中提到凱亞職務(wù)是"庶務(wù)長(zhǎng)"，英文用的也是這個(gè)詞）

hardtack = 供海員、軍人等食用的硬餅干、壓縮餅干

來(lái)自喇叭的旁白繼續(xù)述說(shuō)著你們眼前的場(chǎng)景——

The speaker continues to narrate the scene before you—

出現(xiàn)在新人眼前的大副衣衫襤褸，全身上下打滿繃帶。

The Chief Mate appears to greet the raw recruits, dressed in ragged clothes and swaddled in bandages.

顯然，不久之前，他才經(jīng)歷過(guò)一場(chǎng)激烈的戰(zhàn)斗。

It is obvious that he has just survived a fierce fight.

而放眼望去，甲板上的水手們大多身受重傷……

Looking around, you see most of the sailors are seriously wounded...

但他們精神飽滿，斗志昂揚(yáng)，完全沒(méi)有氣餒或退縮……

However, they are in high spirits, showing no signs of fear or being discouraged...

水手們將你們圍在中間，鼓掌歡迎你們的加入，遞上了見(jiàn)面禮和各種食物。

The sailors gather around you, applauding the newcomers and offering welcome gifts and food.

派蒙：原來(lái)如此，還有詳細(xì)的旁白，讓我們想象現(xiàn)在的情景呢——我們剛到這艘「黑水晶」號(hào)來(lái)報(bào)到，就受到了大家的熱烈歡迎……

Oh! So the speaker also provides detailed narration of the scene, like the scene just now — we were just welcomed onboard the Black Nacre...

派蒙：那我們是不是應(yīng)該配合一下？

派蒙：嘿嘿嘿，謝謝大家，謝謝大家！船上的肉脯和硬餅干，雖然沒(méi)有嘗過(guò)，但味道應(yīng)該還不錯(cuò)？

旅行者：可惜看不見(jiàn)演員和道具。 / 不然代入感應(yīng)該還不錯(cuò)。

It's a pity that we can't see the actors or props. / Otherwise, this could be quite immersive.

派蒙：確實(shí)呢，這個(gè)游樂(lè)項(xiàng)目取名「三日遐想」，難道真的是要我們充分發(fā)揮「遐想」的力量嗎？

派蒙：雖然出于節(jié)約成本的角度可以理解啦——真的搭建一艘海盜船，再準(zhǔn)備好可以隨意航行的場(chǎng)地，肯定要花很多摩拉……

at/(on) short notice/a moment's notice: "notice" is used to indicate that sth can or must be done within a short period of time

派蒙：但完全只靠對(duì)白文字，未免也太勉強(qiáng)我們了嘛！

But still! Only having a narrator is too far. We can only imagine so much!

旅行者：試試看就知道成色了！ / 派蒙和我，堂堂開(kāi)演！

Guess we'll have to try! / Paimon and me, that's how it's gonna be!

派蒙：好吧，那就先試試看……

來(lái)自喇叭的旁白：一陣喧鬧過(guò)后，壯碩的男子出現(xiàn)在露天艦橋上。

As the noise dies down, a powerful-looking man appears on the bridge.

來(lái)自喇叭的旁白：他的衣著與普通水手無(wú)異，只是戴著一頂粗糙的三角帽，左手手掌不見(jiàn)影蹤，取而代之的是一根生銹的鐵鉤。

He is dressed just like a common sailor, save for the ragged tricorne on his head. His left hand is missing, replaced by a rusty hook.

大副：全體注意！船長(zhǎng)威爾到崗！

Attention on deck! Captain Will's arrived!

威爾船長(zhǎng)（堅(jiān)定勇毅的青年）：時(shí)候到了，弟兄們！回到各自的部門，檢查武備和給養(yǎng)，調(diào)整船舶的狀態(tài)，準(zhǔn)備出航！

Captain Will (Stalwart Youth): The time is now, me hearties! Get to your positions, double check your weapons and our supplies, and prepare the ship! Get ready to weigh anchor!

me = (方言/口語(yǔ)) my

hearty = a term of familiar address and fellowship among sailors （對(duì)水手的稱呼）好伙伴、伙計(jì)

weigh anchor = 起錨

派蒙：喔！船長(zhǎng)出現(xiàn)了，聲音好沉穩(wěn)…聽(tīng)起來(lái)就是個(gè)很可靠的人！

Whoa! The Captain is here. He sounds so calm... and reliable!

威爾船長(zhǎng)：藏寶地就在不遠(yuǎn)外，接下來(lái)的一段航程，將是這次遠(yuǎn)航中最為重要的環(huán)節(jié)！

The treasure isn't far now, lads! The final leg of the voyage is by far the most important!

威爾船長(zhǎng)：之前受傷的弟兄們、落水的物資、走失的瞑彩鳥(niǎo)朋友、還有好不容易湊錢買來(lái)的上好酒桶……所有付出都不會(huì)白費(fèi)！

Our wounded comrades, drowned supplies, lost Dusk Birds, and even the casks of rum we scrimped and saved for... the price we paid will not have been in vain!

威爾船長(zhǎng)：只要找到了傳說(shuō)中的寶藏，我們就可以按時(shí)向海怪獻(xiàn)上財(cái)寶，不用再苦苦尋找忘恩負(fù)義的商人，打劫商船湊錢！

As long as we find the legendary treasure, we can appease the Kraken before the deadline! Never again must we seek dishonest merchants to plunder for pocket change!

pocket change = a small amount of money

威爾船長(zhǎng)：拿出最強(qiáng)的氣勢(shì)來(lái)，水手們！為了讓我們的鎮(zhèn)子平平安安，讓鄉(xiāng)親們?cè)僖膊挥檬芸嗍茈y，我們要全速前進(jìn)！

So give it your all, you scurvy seadogs! Do it so our town may know peace, and our friends and family need no longer fear tyranny and toil! Full speed ahead!

seadog = a pirate; a seasoned sailor 海盜；經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富的水手（同義詞：salty dog）

眾水手（船長(zhǎng)說(shuō)啥就是啥）：財(cái)寶！財(cái)寶！全速前進(jìn)！平平安安！

Sailors (Whatever the Captain Says Goes): Treasure! Treasure! Full speed ahead! For peace!

whatever one says goes = [idiom][informal, often humorous] when a particular person in authority gives an order, this order must be obeyed

來(lái)自喇叭的旁白：迎接了善戰(zhàn)的新人后，「黑水晶」號(hào)做好了起錨出航的準(zhǔn)備，即將向著藏寶地進(jìn)發(fā)。

Having welcomed powerful new recruits aboard, the Black Nacre prepares to weigh anchor and set sail for the treasure.

派蒙：哦哦，很快就交待了重要的設(shè)定？這些海盜尋找財(cái)寶的目的很不一般…接下要發(fā)生的事，我倒是有點(diǎn)興趣了！

Oooh, the speaker really set the scene! The goal of these pirates is really different from what Paimon imagined... Paimon's curious what happens next!

派蒙：按照喇叭的說(shuō)法，只要坐上了「呼呼飛車」，就能推進(jìn)話劇的進(jìn)度……這個(gè)節(jié)奏倒還不錯(cuò)！

The speaker said we can ride the Choo-Choo Cart to continue the play... Paimon likes this pace!

派蒙：我們現(xiàn)在就出發(fā)吧，旅行者！

Anchors aweigh, Traveler!

來(lái)自喇叭的旁白：駛向藏寶地的過(guò)程中，「黑水晶」號(hào)闖入了兇險(xiǎn)的水域……

As they sought the treasure, the Black Nacre rushed into dangerous waters...

架自喇叭的旁白：海面之上，濃霧彌漫，翻卷的狂浪不斷拍擊船體，引發(fā)劇烈的搖晃。恐怖的落雷頻頻降下，擦過(guò)桅桿與船帆……

Thick fog filled the air, and rolling waves hit the hull relentlessly, causing the ship to shake violently. Terrifying lightning struck frequently, barely missing the mast and sail...

來(lái)自喇叭的旁白：桅頂?shù)牟t望手什么都沒(méi)法看清，羅盤也失去了作用……不知是不是幻覺(jué)，船員們的耳邊居然還響起了瞑彩鳥(niǎo)的叫聲……

The lookout at the top of the mast could see nothing from the crow's nest, and even the compass failed... And perhaps they were hearing things, but the crew felt they could hear the cry of a Dusk Bird...

crow's nest = a partly enclosed platform high on a ship's mast for use as a lookout 船桅桿上的瞭望臺(tái)

派蒙：呃啊，這次的「呼呼飛車」搖晃得很厲害，確實(shí)有在船上航行的感覺(jué)……我也開(kāi)始頭暈了！

Urgh, the Choo-Choo Cart is shaking so much. It really feels like we're sailing on a ship... Paimon's getting dizzy!

來(lái)自喇叭的旁白：關(guān)鍵時(shí)刻，船長(zhǎng)接過(guò)了舵手的職責(zé)?！负谒А固?hào)似乎適應(yīng)了駭浪的節(jié)奏，開(kāi)始平穩(wěn)航行，穿破了危險(xiǎn)的水域……

At this crucial juncture, the captain took over the duties of the helmsman. Almost as if adapting to the rough waves, the Black Nacre started to sail out of the dangerous waters...

威爾船長(zhǎng)：不要慌，弟兄們！讓我們的直覺(jué)和鄉(xiāng)親們的祝福引領(lǐng)我們，我們一定能找到正確的方向！

Don't panic, lads! Our intuition and the blessings of our folks back home will surely guide us. We'll find our way!

派蒙：不對(duì)??？附近怎么有這么多沉船？我們好像來(lái)到了更危險(xiǎn)的地方！

Well, then why are there so many shipwrecks all around us? Feels like we've gotten ourselves in danger again.

威爾船長(zhǎng)：提高警惕！這些全都是爭(zhēng)奪財(cái)寶的敗者，海怪的爪牙也在朝這個(gè)方向前進(jìn)，說(shuō)明我們沒(méi)有偏離航向！

Be vigilant! These are those who failed to get to the treasure. We've got sea monster minions coming this way. That means we haven't gone off course!

大副：遇敵！遇敵！艦航方向，海怪的爪牙來(lái)襲！

Enemy attack! Enemy attack! Sea monster minions are attacking from the bow!

bow = 船頭（stern 船尾）

眾水手：這個(gè)海怪……明明一直在索要貢品，掠奪了幾十個(gè)小鎮(zhèn)的財(cái)富……難道它們還不滿足嗎？

These sea monsters... They've been demanding tribute all this time, plundering the wealth of dozens of small towns... Aren't they satisfied yet?

威爾船長(zhǎng)：弟兄們，別慌！操縱重炮迎擊海怪的爪牙們吧！這將是一場(chǎng)惡戰(zhàn)，但勝利就在不遠(yuǎn)的前方！

Lads, don't panic! Blast them with our heavy cannons! This will be a nasty battle, but victory is before us!

派蒙：好，終于輪到我們上場(chǎng)了！旅行者，給那些家伙一點(diǎn)顏色瞧瞧！

up and at 'em = a colloquial expression, motivating people to get busy, get up and start working; it can also be used in a military environment, for telling soldiers to get up and fight

威爾船長(zhǎng)：新人們，干得漂亮！海怪的爪牙敗陣了，保持航速，繼續(xù)前進(jìn)！

Good job, greenhorns! Our foes lie vanquished. Now, maintain speed and heading. We sail on!

來(lái)自喇叭的旁白：然而，戰(zhàn)斗的喧囂散去后，遠(yuǎn)方的薄霧中傳來(lái)了凄美而妖嬈的歌聲……

However, beautiful, enchanting singing traveled across the distance as the din of battle dissipated...

眾水手：船長(zhǎng)，我感覺(jué)有點(diǎn)奇怪，眼前好像出現(xiàn)了奶奶做的飯菜……好香！

Captain, something doesn't seem right. I can see the food my grandma makes... It smells so good!

威爾船長(zhǎng)：想用海妖的歌聲蠱惑我們嗎？這樣的伎倆太傳統(tǒng)了！弟兄們，用泡過(guò)水的松茸堵住耳朵！

You want to bewitch us with a siren's song? That trick's too old! Lads, plug your ears with wet Matsutake!

威爾船長(zhǎng)：全員最高戒備！抓緊了，千萬(wàn)別被甩出去！

派蒙：呃啊啊啊??！海上怎么會(huì)有懸崖！藏寶的地方未免也太兇險(xiǎn)了！

Waaait a minute! Why are there cliffs in the ocean? The treasure sure is hidden in a dangerous spot!

大副：又是一處海上斷崖，繼續(xù)保持防御姿態(tài)！

Another cliff. Maintain brace positions!

派蒙：連著兩個(gè)懸崖！如果真的坐在船上，肯定會(huì)被甩飛的！

Two cliffs in a row? We'd surely have been thrown off if we were on a real ship!

派蒙：就算水手撐過(guò)去了……船也會(huì)撐不住摔碎的吧。

Even if the sailors survived the impact, the boat would be smashed...

旁白：一波三折后，「黑水晶」號(hào)總算抵達(dá)了藏寶地前方的關(guān)隘……

After many twists and turns, the Black Nacre finally reached the pass where the treasure was hidden...

來(lái)自喇叭的旁白：沒(méi)想到，另一群海盜在這里等候已久！他們是威爾船長(zhǎng)的老仇家，向「黑水晶」號(hào)發(fā)起了猛烈的進(jìn)攻！

To everyone's surprise, another gang of pirates had been waiting here for them all this time! They were Captain Will's old enemies, and they launched a fierce attack on the Black Nacre!

派蒙：怎么回事，還有半路打劫的同行嗎？這也太陰險(xiǎn)了！

What's going on? Are we seriously being robbed by other pirates? How sneaky of them!

仇敵的伏兵：威爾，你可真是個(gè)好小子！不去干你的海盜本行，反而打起了寶藏的主意，想要蒙騙海怪大人！

Will, you little rascal! Instead of robbing others like a pirate should, you've set your sights on the treasure. Why, you even think to trick our sea monster masters!

威爾船長(zhǎng)：笑話！為富不仁的家伙全都被我們打劫過(guò)了，我們不能再困守在那條老路上苦苦支撐，當(dāng)然要想辦法改變局面！

Nonsense! We've robbed plenty of rich, unjust folk. But we can't keep struggling, retreading old paths. We need to find a way to change our situation!

仇敵的伏兵：不可能，明明是一群烏合之眾……居然這么頑強(qiáng)？

Impossible! They're a motley crew... How can they be so strong?

motley = consisting of many different types that do not appear to go together

仇敵的伏兵：但你們逃不掉的，嘗嘗最猛烈的炮火吧！

But you won't escape either way. Have a whiff of our broadsides!

威爾船長(zhǎng)：別想阻撓我們，我們一定會(huì)拿到寶藏，讓所有人脫離困境！

派蒙：沒(méi)錯(cuò)。說(shuō)人家烏合之眾也太過(guò)分了！「黑水晶」號(hào)的大家都是有情義的海盜，可不能被你們這些壞家伙打??！

stand a chance = to have a chance of success

威爾船長(zhǎng)：那幫家伙發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的伎倆沒(méi)用，居然就這么逃走了……我們也離開(kāi)這片伏擊場(chǎng)吧。

So they fled upon finding their tricks useless, huh... Well, let's leave this place too, shall we?

派蒙：好呀，我們成功了！那些壞家伙沒(méi)得逞！

Hooray, we won! Those villains didn't get their way!

威爾船長(zhǎng)：戰(zhàn)斗結(jié)束！「黑水晶」號(hào)，全員集合！

The battle is over! All crew members of the Black Nacre, gather up over here!

來(lái)自喇叭的旁白：可喜可賀，可喜可賀！在兩位新人水手的幫助下，威爾船長(zhǎng)的老仇家落荒而逃。

Marvelous! Congratulations! With the strength of the new sailors, Captain Will easily defeats his old enemies, sending them running.

來(lái)自喇叭的旁白：所有的困難險(xiǎn)阻都已被突破，再也沒(méi)有什么可以阻擋「黑水晶」號(hào)的眾人！

Having overcome every challenge the voyage could throw at them, nothing can stop the crew of the Black Nacre now!

威爾船長(zhǎng)：不愧是我的好弟兄，被那些家伙伏擊，也臨危不亂……

Such is the loyal crew of the Black Nacre, me lads! Even when those lily-livered biscuit eaters ambushed us, not one of you panicked...

lily-livered = 怯懦的（From the medieval belief that the liver was the seat of courage, and the pale color of the lily flower. A person who had no blood in their liver would have no courage and would thus be a coward.）

威爾船長(zhǎng)：當(dāng)然，我們的新人也立下了大功！新人們一直在前方拔掉硬茬，才讓我們順順利利地抵達(dá)終點(diǎn)。

And of course, our newest crewmembers contributed mightily! They swept away all opposition like it was so much flotsam and jetsam!

flotsam and jetsam =? literally, the items that have been lost (flotsam) or discarded (jetsam) from a ship that has capsized or sunk → things that are unnecessary or trivial

派蒙：那還用說(shuō)！這樣的壞海盜，再來(lái)兩三船都不夠我和旅行者打！

Of course! Bad pirates like that? Paimon and Traveler could fight two or three boatloads more!

旅行者：派蒙也入戲了嘛？ / 說(shuō)明體驗(yàn)還不錯(cuò)？

Getting into it, Paimon? / Guess it's not that bad after all?

派蒙：還，還行吧！畢竟這一路還挺驚險(xiǎn)的，我們也算是和威爾船長(zhǎng)他們共渡難關(guān)了，當(dāng)然要認(rèn)真一點(diǎn)！

I-It's okay! The journey was pretty thrilling, and we've been through thick and thin with Captain Will. So Paimon can be a bit more serious!

威爾船長(zhǎng)：根據(jù)調(diào)查，打碎那堵石墻，就能找到傳說(shuō)中的寶藏了。

Based on our research, if we break that stone wall, we can find the legendary treasure.

威爾船長(zhǎng)：最關(guān)鍵的時(shí)候到了，這最重要的一步，就由我們的大功臣——兩位新人來(lái)完成吧！

fire in the hole = a warning of an imminent explosion in a confined space, esp a grenade or blasting charge (在《加勒比海盜》第三部中，小猴點(diǎn)燃煙花引爆了炸藥，在引線被點(diǎn)燃的時(shí)候，旁邊的鸚鵡就說(shuō)了一句"fire in the hole")

I was once an ordinary mercenary who chose to live and fight in solitude. My reason for becoming a sellsword was simple: I wished to exact revenge on the bandits that terrorized the land.

在我還小的時(shí)候，家中的商隊(duì)遭到了賊匪的洗劫，隨商隊(duì)遠(yuǎn)行的父母亦再也沒(méi)有回來(lái)。

When I was still very young, my family's caravan fell to a bandit attack. My parents, who rode at the head of the caravan, never returned.

從此我走上傭兵之路，就為了根絕貪婪和劫掠，消除這些罪惡帶給人們的痛苦，我發(fā)誓不能放過(guò)一切行惡事的暴徒。甚至也因行事手段太過(guò)乖張，即使是在群狼盤踞的傭兵團(tuán)中也得不到理解。

I started treading this path to eradicate violence and greed. Swearing to eliminate the bandits to the last man, I set out to eliminate all the suffering they could cause. My methods were so extreme that even other mercenary groups could not understand my doings.

我本應(yīng)如此行事，直到世上再也沒(méi)有匪徒，或直到世上再?zèng)]有我。

All things were as they should be. Eventually, one day, there would be no bandits, or there would be no me.

但意外往往就在這種時(shí)候發(fā)生，我跟蹤一伙賊匪回到他們的據(jù)點(diǎn)，對(duì)此我已輕車熟路。

But in a twist of fate, one day, I happened to track a group of bandits to their stronghold — an easy task, considering my experience.

然而不一樣的是，在這次的賊匪之中，居然有一名與我曾有一面之緣，在數(shù)年前，身形尚未長(zhǎng)開(kāi)的少年曾被我救下，他父母的性命亦為賊匪所害。我本以為他應(yīng)該比誰(shuí)都痛恨賊匪，卻怎能與他們同流合污。

But this time, I recognized someone among this group of bandits. Many years ago, I had once saved a youth who had lost his parents to the bandits. Though I believed that he'd come to despise the bandits even more than me, I somehow found him in cahoots with them.

他長(zhǎng)發(fā)凌亂地跪在我的身前，苦苦求饒，臉上帶著被我認(rèn)出的僥幸，述說(shuō)他所經(jīng)歷的辛苦。

His hair unkempt and his face filled with relief at being recognized, he knelt before me and begged for mercy, recounting all the horrors he'd seen.

趁我為此震驚之余，（他）刺傷了我，并遁入了沉謐夜色之中。

?And even as I stood there, shocked and flabbergasted, he had stabbed me with a weapon, before melting away into the quiet night.

如果不是伊迪婭小姐搭救我，恐怕沙漠之中早已多出一具枯骨……

Had Miss Idyia not rescued me, I'd have perhaps become yet another dry skeleton in these sands.

我所做的一切真的有意義嗎，為什么明明為賊匪所害的人，也會(huì)成為賊匪？

Was there any meaning to the life I had led? Why would a victim of banditry go on to embrace their way of life?

在蜃境之中，少年人，于火光里，皺著臉流淚向我述說(shuō)的那些，那些不被人正經(jīng)看待的經(jīng)歷，那些被人如喪家之犬般攆出門的無(wú)依無(wú)靠的歲月，我也曾經(jīng)歷過(guò)。我、我僅僅是靠那燃燒的仇恨和父母留下的余財(cái)才沒(méi)有淪落到他那樣的地步。

Deep within the Mirage, a youth shared their story against the flickering fire, their eyebrows knitted in a frown and their eyes full of tears. The lack of dignity, the agony of exile, and the loneliness in living all on one's own... Had I not harbored a burning hatred or inherited a small amount of family wealth, I would have likely become just like them.

「蓋子不行，不如試試看底吧……」伊迪婭小姐在無(wú)法打開(kāi)罐頭時(shí)說(shuō)的話令我醒悟。

"If the lid won't work, why don't we try our luck with the bottom?" Miss Idyia's words as she struggled in vain to open a can finally allowed me to piece my thoughts together.

有些問(wèn)題就得從根本上解決，或許才能改變現(xiàn)狀。沒(méi)人比我知道那些曾經(jīng)成為賊匪的人都經(jīng)歷了什么，我相信自己也能為改變他們，或從一開(kāi)始就不讓他們踏上歧途做出一點(diǎn)貢獻(xiàn)。

There are some evils in the world that can only be treated by removing their root causes. I know better than anyone the experiences that would drive someone to become a bandit. If I wished to stop them from going astray... I could begin by doing what I can to improve their circumstances.

我想，那是與戰(zhàn)斗有別的另一種戰(zhàn)斗，那種戰(zhàn)斗更不直接，更困難，更需要頭腦，但是我相信會(huì)有更多的人從中受益。

I reckon it'll be a different kind of struggle from beating someone in a fight. It's far less direct, far more difficult, and requires far more thinking, but I believe it'd also benefit those in need far more.

所以我可能不再需要這個(gè)戰(zhàn)斗中使用的干糧包了。

Anyway, all that is to say I probably won't need this warrior's ration bag anymore.

我是一位梨多梵諦學(xué)院的學(xué)生，在觀測(cè)星象時(shí)模糊入眠，一覺(jué)醒來(lái)時(shí)發(fā)現(xiàn)自己到了這里，停留了一段時(shí)間。

I am a Rtawahist student who fell asleep while observing the skies. After finding myself here upon waking up, I decided to stay awhile.

管理人伊迪婭小姐似乎正為某些事情苦惱，說(shuō)是要「修復(fù)老舊的設(shè)施」，來(lái)不及解答我的疑惑，只是為我安排了一個(gè)非常安靜的住處，讓我得到了充分的休息……

The caretaker, Miss Idyia, appears to be struggling with the need to "repair" some old mechanisms on the grounds. She did not respond to my questions, but simply offered me a quiet place to stay, where I might get plenty of rest...

Nevertheless, from the way others talk about her, I could tell that she is usually a generous host. It was understandable that she would not have the time to take care of me while being pulled in several different directions.

I was unable to get an answer from her even as I packed up and left. She did, however, give me many gifts, and invite me to try out this attraction.

Maybe the special location and my good mood both had something to do with it? After all, our field of vision is far wider here, and the air here is also less dry and more pure than regular air in the desert.

重要的是，很少有魔物和不懷好心的人來(lái)攪局，閑下來(lái)的時(shí)候，你也可以在這里好好欣賞一下星空！

這個(gè)奇妙的水樂(lè)園就是我到過(guò)最遠(yuǎn)的地方，我在這里玩得很開(kāi)心，你呢？

This fantastic water park is the furthest place I've reached so far. I've had a great time here. How about you?

本來(lái)，爸爸媽媽的故事里說(shuō)，云朵的上邊有一個(gè)團(tuán)雀和晶蝶的樂(lè)園。為了找到那個(gè)樂(lè)園，和那些朋友一起玩，我才做了這個(gè)風(fēng)箏。

According to Mama and Papa's story, there's a paradise for finches and crystalflies on top of a cloud. I made this kite to find that paradise and play with them!

結(jié)果我飛起來(lái)以后，根本沒(méi)有找到那個(gè)樂(lè)園，可能是我飛得還不夠高吧。

But when I used the kite to fly, I couldn't find that paradise. Maybe it's because I wasn't flying high enough.

不過(guò)也沒(méi)關(guān)系！我降落到了沙漠里，認(rèn)識(shí)了帥氣的大紅鳥(niǎo)，還坐在有很多腿的大家伙身上，跑了好久好久。那種大家伙好像是叫……鞋子？

But that's fine! I landed in the desert, made friends with a super cool, super huge red bird, and even rode for a long way on the back of a huge creature with many legs. I think they call them... scorepeons, or something?

最重要的是，我遇到了能讓大紅鳥(niǎo)和大鞋子乖乖聽(tīng)話，回家睡覺(jué)的伊迪婭姐姐！

Oh and also, I met Miss Idyia, who managed to convince the big red bird and the big scorepeons to turn around and go back to sleep!

伊迪婭姐姐帶我來(lái)到了這個(gè)水樂(lè)園，這里的飛飛水球比晶蝶還神奇！

And after that, she took me to this water park, where the flying balls of water were even more magical than the crystalflies!

飛飛水球給我送來(lái)好吃的蘋果，和我一起找材料，幫我做新的風(fēng)箏，還帶我去神秘的地方探險(xiǎn)，到很高很高的地方看風(fēng)景！

They gave me tasty apples, assisted me in my search for construction materials, helped me build a new kite, and even took me onto new adventures in mysterious places, so that I can see the scenery from super-duper high up!

伊迪婭姐姐說(shuō)，如果我成為了特別有名的冒險(xiǎn)家，那這里就是我最重要的第一站，旅行的起點(diǎn)！

Miss Idyia said that if I were to become a super famous adventurer someday, then this place must be my first stop, the start of my journey!

所以我在日記（里）留下了我發(fā)明的第一個(gè)超級(jí)旅行風(fēng)箏——的圖紙！

Soooo I drew the first super kite that I invented in my diary!?... Well, the blueprint of the thing, anyway.

The featured design is well-shaped, has an effective weight-bearing skeletal structure, and many safety features. It is apparent that only a highly educated child could have produced such a high-level design. Maybe the diary-writer is the child of scholarly parents, and has been interested in engineering since early childhood.)

Though, someone as obviously talented and skilled as you must have noticed that this pocketwatch is made in the shape of Mora, with a thin coat of Mora-colored paint. By market standards, it's barely worth anything.
