袁術(shù)面對(duì)袁紹的斥問(wèn)，道出了自己的“深謀遠(yuǎn)慮”。言未盡，敗報(bào)已至：孫堅(jiān)折兵損將，孤軍大敗。董卓親率西涼大軍前來(lái)征討，董軍大將呂布接連斬殺了數(shù)員盟軍大將，一時(shí)無(wú)人敢應(yīng)戰(zhàn)。張飛單挑呂布，關(guān)羽和劉備二人也相繼加入，三英戰(zhàn)呂布。各路諸侯趁勢(shì)麾軍殺向董卓。京都洛陽(yáng)，董卓欲挾天子遷都長(zhǎng)安，百官噤若寒蟬，恐懼無(wú)言。與此同時(shí)，曹操與孫堅(jiān)力勸袁紹率軍追殺董卓，一舉殲滅巨賊。

第6集
孫堅(jiān)率軍進(jìn)入已是廢墟的洛陽(yáng)。在大明宮的龍座之內(nèi)，孫堅(jiān)得到了有著五百余年歷史的傳國(guó)玉璽。翌日，盟軍諸侯聚集洛陽(yáng)殘宮，慶賀討董大獲成功。孰料大殿之上，曹操、劉備、孫堅(jiān)都對(duì)盟軍表示了失望之情，相繼離去。至此，反董聯(lián)盟土崩瓦解。袁紹、袁術(shù)兄弟二人皆對(duì)孫堅(jiān)手中的傳國(guó)玉璽垂涎三尺，各懷鬼胎。在三津渡，孫堅(jiān)遇到劉表的攔截，劉表表示無(wú)意為害孫堅(jiān)，做兵敗狀放其渡江。
（譯者加：因版權(quán)問(wèn)題，第六集是無(wú)法播放的，所以第六集評(píng)論也不存在。但為了劇情連貫，還是把第六集劇情加上。）

第7集
在船上，孫堅(jiān)中了劉表的埋伏，身中多箭身亡，孫堅(jiān)尸體也落入劉表手中。年僅九歲的次子孫權(quán)毅然用劉表大將黃祖換回了父親的尸首。自此之后，孫氏兄弟持哀守節(jié)，招賢納士，厲馬秣兵，逐漸發(fā)展成為一方梟雄。長(zhǎng)安宮中，董卓斬殺了暗通袁紹的司空張溫，以他的血酒招待眾臣下，老臣王允苦不堪言。王允踉蹌歸府，欲求拔劍自刎，被貂蟬攔下。王允得知貂蟬與呂布暗中相好已久，頓覺(jué)除賊有望。

man that kid that plays Sun Quan is really damn good, top notch acting from someone so young, better than a lot of the adult actors in this.

天啊，那個(gè)扮演孫權(quán)的孩子真的太棒了，這么年輕就有這么好的演技，比很多成年演員都要好。

I like how Sun Jian's forces still wrecked the Jing army despite being ambushed, outnumbered, losing Sun Jian, and having to awkwardly disembark their ships to fight on the riverbanks.

我喜歡這部分劇情，哪怕孫堅(jiān)的部隊(duì)遭遇伏擊、寡不敵眾、孫堅(jiān)死去、不得不笨拙地下船到江邊作戰(zhàn)的情況下，仍然擊潰了劉表軍。

...dude...my feels...Sun Jian, this is the father everyone wants.

I love how this show portrays the different types of people inhabiting China at the time, most notably the northern Xiliang army, which I believe were partly descendant from the nomadic/semi-nomadic tribes in Mongolia. They have completely different styles of dress and even have the facial hair down perfect. All of them have facial hair, and especially (most notably) a token 'barbarian' badass nomadic tribesman mustache.

That being said, from the theatrical side of it, I think the scene with Sun Quan and Liu Biao is quite well done. For some reason I find it rather moving.

Have to admit, I really pity this version of Lu Bu.

Dong Zhuo hates being betrayed which is why he seems so cruel but I do get the feeling he rewards his loyal servants very well. Mansions, gold and promotions.

Lu Bu's actor does such an amazing job portraying him in this series. Usually he's seen as a stereotypical villain but this show really makes me sympathize with him.

Rewatching this show makes me wonder why on earth anyone sensible would want to go so out of their way to restore the Han. With the corrupt officials, the irresponsible emperors, the usurpation of the consort clans, the ignorance of the struggles of the commoners, and the persecution (and often execution) of any officials who pointed these things out… the restoration of the Han really doesn't sound all that great.
