法語(yǔ)的 “introduire” 和英語(yǔ)的 “introduce” 長(zhǎng)得很象吧？但要當(dāng)心啦：它們是一對(duì)“假朋友”，小心上當(dāng)！ （^v^)

“Introduire quelqu'un”是“帶領(lǐng)某人進(jìn)入房間（圈子，領(lǐng)域）”，而不是“介紹某人”（即告知雙方的姓名，身份等，使他們正式相識(shí)，這要用 présenter）。

“Introduire quelqu'un” is to show someone into a room, etc. ( faire entrer, conduire quelqu'un dans un lieu）, not to introduce someone, which is “présenter”.

例如：

Introduire un visiteur au salon
To show a visitor into the living room
把來訪者讓進(jìn)客廳。

L'huissier introduit les visiteurs.

The usher announces the guests.

門房將訪客請(qǐng)進(jìn)來（并通報(bào)姓名、身份）。

La secrétaire m' introduisit auprès du directeur/dans le bureau du directeur.
The secretary showed me into the manager's office.
秘書把我帶進(jìn)了經(jīng)理的辦公室。（帶我去見經(jīng)理）

C'est son père qui m'a introduit dans la haute société.
It was his father who gave me an introduction to/an entrée into high society.
全靠他父親引薦，我才得以進(jìn)入上流社會(huì)。

Une souris s'est?introduite?dans la maison par le trou.
A mouse?got into?the house through the hole.
一只老鼠從小洞進(jìn)入了房子里。（它是不請(qǐng)自來啦：自己把自己“引進(jìn)”了房子。^v^）

Il a réussi à s'introduire dans le milieu fermé des diamantaire.
He managed to find a way into/get himself accepted in the closed world of the diamond merchants.
他成功地打入了鉆石商的小圈子。(和老鼠一樣啦：自己把自己“引進(jìn)”了圈子。^v^）

以上句子的共同特點(diǎn)是：introduire 的對(duì)象是人（或動(dòng)物，e.g.老鼠），他們被領(lǐng)入房間或某圈子，某領(lǐng)域。

當(dāng) introduire 的對(duì)象不是人，而是外來的物種，技術(shù)，etc.，或某種抽象的事物（外來的時(shí)尚，思想，理論等）時(shí)，可以譯為“引進(jìn)，傳入”（faire conna?tre）。這種用法常為被動(dòng)句。英語(yǔ)的 introduce 也有同樣的用法。在這個(gè)意義上，兩個(gè)詞是“真朋友”，可以互譯。

例如：

Les bommes de terre furent introduites en Europe dès 1550.
Potatoes were introduced into Europe as early as 1550.
馬鈴薯在1550年就被引進(jìn)了歐洲。

Cette nouvelle mode a été introduite enFranceaprès la guerre.
This new fashion was introduced intoFranceafter the war.

Cet usage s'est introduit chez nous dans les années soixante.
This practice was introduced in this country in the sixties.

注意：法語(yǔ)的 introduire 可以用于具體的工具，器械等：

Il introduisit la clef dans la serrure avec précaution.
He put/inserted the key cautiously into the lock.
他小心翼翼地把鑰匙插進(jìn)鎖里。（普通的物體）

而英語(yǔ)的 introduce 就幾乎不用于具體的器物（To introduce ne s'emploie que rarement en anglais avec des objets concrets.）當(dāng)然啦，學(xué)醫(yī)的會(huì)遇到以下句子:

The doctor introduced a catheter into the patient’s nose.
醫(yī)生在病人的鼻子里放了一根導(dǎo)管。(太專業(yè)了吧？不用記啦！^v^)?

英語(yǔ)的 introduce 主要還是“介紹”的意思， 相當(dāng)于法語(yǔ)的 présenter，即：通過（某人）介紹與某人相識(shí)（faire rencontrer）。例如：

Allow me to introduce Mr. Adams (to you) (to introduce myself).
Permettez-moi de vous présenter M. Adams (de me présenter).
請(qǐng)?jiān)试S我向您介紹亞當(dāng)斯先生。（我自己）

I was the one who introduced them (to each other).
C'est moi qui les ai présentés l'un à l'autre/C’est grace à moi qu’ils se connaissent.
是我介紹他們相識(shí)的。

除了介紹人，introduce 也可以“介紹”事物（faire découvrir），有時(shí)也可譯為 introduire：

I was first introduced to classical music at the age of five.
J'ai eu mon premier contact avec la musique classique à l'age de cinq ans.
我5歲開始接觸古典音樂。

During the Greek holiday Hugh introduced me to the joys of skin diving.
Pendant ces vacances en Grèce, Hugues m'a initié aux joies de la plongée sous-marine.
