Then during the 19 hundreds, Norman rockwell became a very famous American painter whose works are known to be on the covers of hundreds of Saturday evening post magazines, the most famous American magazine at this time. You can’t do that. how dare you have the luxury of using a projector. you should have to? draw everything out from memory and be able to deliver it as a painting for each of the magazine covers every two weeks that fail. ?

But truthfully a lot of artists around him used this technique. it's save time, and it was needed for work. Although one person who famously didn't do this was JC leyendecker, who used grids for his work. Obviously, JC leyendecker was like a god of painting. You’re going to need a lot of help.?

So let’s jump back to today. Now people are saying photoshop is cheating. How dare you. They cry. I hope this voice isn't annoying by the way, but too bad. You have to listen to it anyway. How dare you have the luxury of being able to insert a photograph for textures like brick in stone at least. That would otherwise take 4 bus pay by hand. You should be able to draw all of this by your own hand. Now, second myth. So can I bash other people's artwork then? Cause I can use photographs, right? Absolutely not. 借用他人作品的元素可以嗎？不可以。This is a bit of an unspoken rule that we do not bash painted artworks by other people, or photo bashed pieces by other artists. Even with photographs, try not to take your photograph from very well established photographers as they can be incredibly disrespectful and illegal. 這是不可言說但卻不成名的規(guī)定，比如你高仿成熟藝術(shù)家的作品或者其它不成名的攝像師的作品，都是不夠尊重，嚴(yán)重者甚至違規(guī)行為。Remember, the purpose of photo bashing is so that we can quickly bash in something like grass, bricks teacup, or in this case for my piece of broken mirror, a toilet, a lamp, something that would have taken forever to hand paint. So if I took these bushes right here, it's okay, because my priority is the grass. The photographer does not own the grass. Or I guess this is a shrub, not a piece of grass. But anyways, they don't own the grand canyon either. They don't own the rocks and they don't own the stream. All of it belongs at the end of the day to mother nature. And she is happy to share. My favorite photographs to pick from are the ones that you will just find on Google images, random stuff that random people have posted for the sake of spreading Information. However, I try to actively stay away from photographers who viewed their photo as their own personal art. So typically that is in the realm of professional and well established photographers.盡量不去觸碰不愿意分享資源藝術(shù)家的作品。?

Another thing is to be careful of stock photo images, because chances are you will run into them. It's okay to use them for personal work and to just photoshop the logos out. But for commercial and marketing and industry work, make sure to purchase the photograph or let your company know. I'm not really sure why your company would purchase this particular stock photo, but anyways, using their photo is also stealing. But it was pretty funny to see sometimes if things do slip out of the cracks. And that is a pretty solid introduction to the concept of photo bashing.?

Honestly, I wish that someone told me this stuff when I first started bashing. I had no idea what I was doing.
