分布：廣西

種小名“orbihumerus”由“orbi，圓形的”+“humerus，肱骨，肩“組成，指的是該物種圓鈍的肩角。

種小名“eowilsoni”指的是已故蟻學家愛德華·威爾遜（Edward O. Wilson），以紀念他對生物多樣性的研究和保護。

種小名“muusensis”指一地名“毛烏素”，即該物種的模式產地毛烏素沙漠。

生存年代：約14.7Ma，中新世

分布：福建

種小名“pseudotransversa”由“pseudo，假的”+“transversa，橫紋齒猛蟻的種名”組成，指該物種近似現存種橫紋齒猛蟻。

備注：

（1）由于切葉蟻亞科及其下分類單元改名的原因，本文使用“雙脊蟻屬”作為”Myrmecina”的中名。

（2）分布圖經過適當修改。

（3）云南此前記錄的角唇寬猛蟻皆為此種，目前無證據表明角唇寬猛蟻在國內有分布。
