? ? ? ? a) 方法名稱：注意 inference?for?slope 用的是?t-distribution,?df?=-2.?Degree of freedom 用?n-2, 因為大部分 linear regression 里有兩個 parameters -intercept??and slope?.?所以說明方法的時候，文字或公式都可以：-interval for the slope (用公式就是?±*(),?-test for a slope.

? ? ? b) 如果是 test, 要寫 H0?and H?(null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis). 再次說一下， test?的是 population parameter. 不能用?sample slope?b?如何。

? ? ? ? 要是你們沒有學過其他的 confidence intervals or tests, 別來說看不懂。這次的目標讀者知道我預告過要寫這篇文章。

? ? ? ? d) 計算。徒手算的題，這步跟其他 confidence interval 看起來略有點不像（最后給你們看例題）。slope 跟 mean or proportion 不一樣的地方在于，題目里大多直接給?standard error?(!!! 看例題。其他 interval, test 學得好的話，regression slope 主要就是“背”一下 conditions + 看這個細節(jié)）.?要會按計算器，但 slope 直接給原始?x,?y?數(shù)據(jù)讓去按的，按計算器太復雜，不常見。更多的是給了計算器輸出的一些結(jié)果。

i.? Confidence interval?的話，需要算?t* (inverse?t?distribution,?df?=?n?-2), 算 margin of error, 得出 confidence interval.

ii.?Test 的話，如果用 rejection region,?算出?t, 算出 rejection region；如果用?p-value, 算出?t, 算出?p-value.
