The late 20th has witnessed a boost to the whole well-beings of humans with a decrease in birth rate. As marriage and relationship have always been one of themost fascinating and complex enterprises for people ,it is worthy of discussing.

The decrease in birth rate and late childbirth is a feature in contemporary information epoch. It is hard to imagine people would practice this way in agricultural society. Since the late 60th, the booming of technology have valued machines while devalued labors ,thus resulting in the skyrocketing cost of cultivating kids.

This is especially true in certain cultures where how kids behave academically is closely related to the future career prospects. No parents would like to fail their kids in the future by cutting the investing on education which really costs high.

As a result, new couples could evaluate what they can get from raising kids compared to what they have to contribute./ whether or when to have babies in line with their own willingness instead of complying with tradition.

While developed countries, take Northern Eu for example, have already implemented incentive policies to stimulate birth rate ,the result is discouraging. By contrast, families celebrate freedom they have in terms of giving birth. Late childbirth facilitates household in many ways. One is that wives could be more dedicated in her work and both the two could have less financial pressure. Families do take this problem as seriously as authorities do. As a lack of young labor equals low productivity, authorities may have to attract new immigrants to meet the job vacancies in their domestic market with increasing conflicts between immigrants and locals. On the other, less babies imply growing financial burden on taking care of the elderly, both of which trap those governments in a dilemma.

The corresponding solution is to give high rewards to those who would like to have kids while be compromising to those who don't. Also, tax could be used as the level to generate more kids.
