20日，外交部發(fā)言人耿爽在例行記者會上針對“中國制造的產(chǎn)品攜帶病毒”的論調(diào)回應(yīng)稱，如果說“中國制造有毒”，那就別用！

耿爽表示，新冠肺炎疫情發(fā)生以來，我們總能看到一些人不負責任地散播謠言、制造恐慌。我不知道這些人發(fā)表這種荒謬無知、聳人聽聞言論的目的是什么，是嘩眾取寵，還是欺世盜名？

• Since the outbreak, we have seen some people acting in an irresponsible manner, spreading rumors and creating panic. I wonder what these people are up to by making such?absurd, ignorant and sensational comments? Is it grandstanding or deception?

耿爽表示，中國是制造業(yè)大國，也是防疫和醫(yī)療物資生產(chǎn)和出口大國。中國在全力抗擊本國疫情的同時，克服自身困難，已經(jīng)并將繼續(xù)向有需要的國家提供力所能及的幫助，并為他們在華進行商業(yè)采購提供便利。中方負責任的行為得到了國際社會的普遍贊譽。

• China is a leading manufacturer as well as a major producer and exporter of medical supplies for epidemic response. As the pandemic is spreading around the world, many countries are facing a shortage of medical supplies such as masks, protective suits and ventilators. They hope to get assistance or purchase items from China. While combating the epidemic at home, China has provided and will continue to provide assistance to countries in need to facilitate their commercial procurement in China. Our responsible practice has been universally praised by the international community.

耿爽指出，面對新冠肺炎疫情肆虐，如果有人說“中國制造有毒”，那么請說這種話的人，不要戴中國制造的口罩，不要穿中國生產(chǎn)的防護服，不要用中國出口的呼吸機，以免染上病毒。

• For those who label products made in China as "contaminated with virus", they'd better not wear those made-in-China masks, protective suits and ventilators.

最后，耿爽強調(diào)，在這場國際社會與新冠病毒的斗爭中，請尊重事實、尊重科學、尊重他人。最重要的是，尊重自己。即使科學暫時無法到達的地方，文明還會到達。

• In this global fight against the coronavirus, everyone needs to respect facts, respect science, respect others and, above all, respect oneself. Because where science cannot arrive for the time being, humanity will.
