(Situation) As the minister of the Human Resources Team of the XXXXXX club in my school, I’m responsible for recruiting new members for the club. But during the recruiting process, there was a member in our team who just didn’ t pull his weight always missed the deadline of his work. As he is responsible for collecting resumes, he kept the point that there is no need to collect all the resume from the applicants and what he had collected is much enough for recruitment purpose.?

?(Action) The conflict is often a reflection of some sort of miscommunication, so the first thing I did was to sit down with my teammate and find out whether he was thinking something different to what I was thinking. After a deep conversation, we found that he thought he was doing the dirty work of the team and being underestimated. Knowing that, I asked if he is interested in constructing a question pool with me by leveraging his knowledge and experience of collecting mountains of resumes.?
