The study of crime and its influnce is a complex enterprise. In terms of recent concerns about re committing , several reasons and related solutions would be discussed here.

Some people would attribute this phenomenon for the sake of genetic or biological basis .

That is to say , compared to law-abiding citizens ,the people who perpetrate again may hold ?a higher predisposition/ propensity to break the law .The reasons may be due to their parents wrong behaviors or outrageous dispositions that could pass down to the kids ,which is proved in some scientific research .And this is the grounds for the position that punishing such behaviors may be a waste of time and resources .Besides ,a criminal record makes the person difficult to find the job ,which aggravate the situation that they tend to drift in and out of crimes . When the criminals are out of prison , for instance , they may could not make a living in this society not only because of the crime record but also because they have not gained proper skills or expertise to survive in this society .What they can do is nothing but stepping back to the gangs repeatedly .

Though punishments or incarceration may be effective in deterring crimes, in the long run, however, providing people with better education as well as strong sense of community attachment may be far effective than incarcerating /prisoning/imprisoning them or punishing them .? Psychological therapy as well as specific vocational training would be implemented in their communities to help them adjust to the society ,which would smooth the re joining-society process for these people and sooth their anxieties and fear. If they could find a job and be accepted by the society ,thus regaining the confidence of behaving well, they are less likely to offend wrong doings again .In addition ,less exposure about the violence in media may lower the percentage of crimes and reduce the trigger of copycat illegal behaviors. People learn to commit crimes; therefore, why give them a channel to learn?

While helping the swimmingly transition of the pre criminals to be good behaved citizens poses real challenge combined with risks ,it is still an inspiring and worthwhile thing to devote as the majority of them also have and would like to have the right to become good people ?again .
