婚禮｜留學生對傳統(tǒng)文化的探討與反思Wedding｜ Discussion and reflection on traditional culture

作為澳洲的中國留學生，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)中國婚禮跟澳洲婚禮展現(xiàn)了兩個國家不同的社會，文化以及家庭對于新婚夫婦的期望，同時著裝的樣式和寓意也非常不同。 比方中國人覺得紅色是喜慶的，而澳大利亞人覺得白色代表圣潔。 近年來很多中國人接收到澳大利亞等西方婚禮的外文化影響，開始拋棄一部分自己國家的傳統(tǒng)服飾和儀式，甚至設計出一半頭紗一半旗袍的婚紗，既沒有體現(xiàn)出西方婚禮的莊重，也沒有體現(xiàn)出中式婚禮的大氣。

隨著當代社會的發(fā)展，越來越多的人接觸到不同的文化和信仰，但中國人也應該學會更多的在重大節(jié)日與儀式中守護屬于自己的傳統(tǒng)文化。

As Chinese students in Australia, we found that Chinese weddings and Australian weddings showcase the distinctive societies, cultures, and familial expectations for newlyweds in these two nations. The styles and symbolism of attire also exhibit significant differences. For example, while red is perceived as festive in Chinese culture, Australians associate white with purity. In recent years, numerous Chinese individuals have been influenced by Western wedding customs, akin to those observed in Australia, resulting in the abandonment of certain traditional attire and rituals. Some have even conceived hybrid wedding gowns that amalgamate elements from both cultures, like a fusion of a veil and a qipao, which neither encapsulates the solemnity of Western weddings nor the opulence of Chinese ones. As contemporary society develops and provides increased exposure to diverse cultures and beliefs, Chinese individuals should also strive to better preserve their own traditional heritage during significant festivals and ceremonies.
