銅合金的分類(lèi)方法有三種：

按合金

按合金系劃分，可分為非合金銅和合金銅.非合金銅包括高純銅、韌銅、脫氧銅、無(wú)氧銅等，習(xí)慣上，人們將非合金銅稱(chēng)為紫銅或純銅，也叫紅銅，而其他銅合金則屬于合金銅。我國(guó)和俄羅斯把合金銅分為黃銅、青銅和白銅，然后在大類(lèi)中劃分小的合金系。

按功能

按功能劃分，有導(dǎo)電導(dǎo)熱用銅合金（主要有非合金化銅和微合金化銅）、結(jié)構(gòu)用銅合金（幾乎包括所有銅合金）、耐蝕銅合金（主要有錫黃銅、鋁黃銅、各種不白銅、鋁青銅、鈦青銅等）耐磨銅合金（主要有含鉛、錫、鋁、錳等元素復(fù)雜黃銅、鋁青銅等）、易切削銅合金（銅-鉛、銅-碲、銅-銻等合金）、 性銅合金（主要有銻青銅、鋁青銅、鈹青銅、鈦青銅等）阻尼銅合金（高錳銅合金等）、藝術(shù)銅合金（純銅、簡(jiǎn)單單銅、錫青銅、鋁青銅、白銅等）。顯然，許多銅合金都具有多生功能。
