When Teachers’ Day came around, Tom had a plan. Tom recommended that Bruce play the violin at Teachers’ Day celebration. Hearing the idea, all the other students laughed, saying that Bruce can not even dress properly, not to mention playing the violin. However, Tom insisted that Bruce play well and he should play at the celebration. Finally, the other students agreed hesitantly. On the day of the celebration, both the teachers and the students were surprised to see Bruce walking on the stage with a violin. When Bruce started to play, the audience fell silent. Their jaws dropped open. They were surprised that they had never heard someone play the violin so expertly. After the performance, the audience responded with thunderous applause. From that day on, Bruce became a superstar and all the classmates changed the attitude to him and even wanted to make friends with him. People can often see Bruce play the violin on different important occasions, with Tom, his best friend, sitting back.
