even if與even though表示“即使，盡管”，兩者區(qū)別在于：

even if后面接還沒(méi)有發(fā)生的事（表假設(shè)或可能）

even though后面接已經(jīng)發(fā)生的事（表發(fā)生的事實(shí)）

Even if I were in your place, I wouldn't take the job. (從句表假設(shè))

I'll do it, even if it takes me all the afternoon.(從句表可能)

We will make a trip to Shanghai even though the weather is bad. (從句表事實(shí))

He did not apologize even though he knew he was wrong. (從句表事實(shí))


考點(diǎn)3：“no matter＋疑問(wèn)詞”與“疑問(wèn)詞＋ever”。

1).?“no matter＋疑問(wèn)詞”≈“疑問(wèn)詞＋ever”，表“無(wú)論...”，二者都可以引導(dǎo)讓步狀語(yǔ)從句。

no matter what/who/how... ≈ whatever/whoever/however...

Don't trust him, no matter what/whatever he says.

No matter what/whatever happened, he would not mind.

Wherever you go, whatever you do, I will be right here waiting for you.


2).?“疑問(wèn)詞＋ever”還可以引導(dǎo)名詞性從句，但“no matter+疑問(wèn)詞”不行。（有關(guān)名詞性從句的辨識(shí)請(qǐng)翻閱前面的名詞性從句講解部分）

No matter what you say is of no use now. （??）

Whatever you say is of no use now. （?? Whatever you say是主語(yǔ)從句)
