在英語寫作或漢譯英時(shí)，什么情況下使用并列句或主從句結(jié)構(gòu)？（一）

對于這樣的問題，相信好多同學(xué)沒有思考過。平時(shí)寫英語作文，都是想到哪，

寫到哪；做漢譯英時(shí)，根據(jù)漢語的順序，對著翻譯。這樣寫出或譯出的大部分

英語句子必然是漢式英語。在英語中，何時(shí)使用并列句或主從句結(jié)構(gòu)主要取決

于句中相關(guān)信息的重要程度，如果相關(guān)信息同等重要，則使用并列句結(jié)構(gòu)；當(dāng)

信息有主次之分時(shí)，則使用主從句結(jié)構(gòu)。

1. 但正如我們常說的，道路是曲折的，前途是光明的。

這一句漢語中兩個(gè)信息，“前途是光明的”與“道路是曲折的” 是主次關(guān)系，所以

譯成主從結(jié)構(gòu)：

But as we have often said, although the road ahead is tortuous, the future is

bright.

2. 游行的學(xué)生隊(duì)伍，高喊“反對饑餓！“反對內(nèi)戰(zhàn)！”的口號。

這一句中的兩個(gè)信息“游行”與“高喊口號”是主次關(guān)系，所以譯成主從結(jié)構(gòu)：

As they marched, the students shouted the slogans “oppose hunger! and?

“oppose civil war!”

在醫(yī)院上班讓我明白了為自己的工作感到自豪也是對工作投入的一部分。這種投入與
