歐柏林音樂學(xué)院是美國歷史最悠久的音樂學(xué)院，也是美國第一家四年制大學(xué)學(xué)位的音樂教育機(jī)構(gòu)，享有世界聲譽。

它是全世界最早及美國唯一的全斯坦威學(xué)校，學(xué)校擁有207架斯坦威三角鋼琴。它每年舉辦的活動眾多，平均每年有500多場音樂會、演唱會和戲劇表演在校園內(nèi)舉辦。

學(xué)院介紹

歐柏林音樂學(xué)院大學(xué)部提供八個專業(yè)主修，涵蓋20項的專業(yè)領(lǐng)域。并且收藏超過1500件高品質(zhì)樂器，加上擁有優(yōu)良師資及校內(nèi)五座大型音樂廳及150間練習(xí)室、182間琴房、240臺鋼琴、16架管風(fēng)琴、錄音中心、芬尼禮堂、沃那音樂廳、3萬冊圖書、5萬冊樂譜，是一所規(guī)模不小的音樂學(xué)院。

校園環(huán)境

歐柏林音樂學(xué)院的主要教學(xué)樓Bibbins Hall是教師工作室和斯圖爾演奏廳的所在地，用于私人教學(xué)、合奏指導(dǎo)和大師班。比賓斯還設(shè)有音樂學(xué)院院長辦公室、音樂及相關(guān)藝術(shù)技術(shù) (TIMARA) 綜合大樓和鋼琴技術(shù)商店。

Bibbins Hall創(chuàng)建于 1963 年，由著名建筑師 Minoru Yamasaki 設(shè)計，他后來在他最著名的作品中模仿了 Bibbins 的外觀，即紐約市前世界貿(mào)易中心。

Conservatory Central Unit設(shè)有庫拉斯演奏廳和華納音樂廳，許多教師和學(xué)生的表演都在這里舉行。

歐柏林音樂學(xué)院揭開了時尚而現(xiàn)代的Bertram and Judith Kohl Building的面紗，該大樓是爵士樂研究以及作曲、音樂學(xué)和音樂理論課程的所在地。Kohl Building于 2010 年開放，通過一個地面廣場和一個三層玻璃墻懸臂部分與溫室綜合體相連。
