Hello and greetings from Sichuan. I'm now in a village surrounded by very beautiful views, and the name of the village is Zhanshan, which is located in the Santai County of China's southwest Sichuan Province.?

大家好，來自四川的問候。我現(xiàn)在在一個(gè)美麗景色環(huán)繞的村莊里，位于中國(guó)西南部的四川省三臺(tái)縣的斬山村。

It is my very first time to be here, in this place, but for many of my colleagues, they've been here four years in a row. And the reason that we keep coming back to Santai County is that we want to keep track of the changes here, from the living standards of the residents to the improvements of their livelihoods.?

這是我第一次來到這個(gè)地方，但是我的很多同事在過去四年，每年都來報(bào)道。我們希望通過回訪三臺(tái)縣，來記錄觀察這里的變化，從居民的居住條件到整體生活的水平的改善。

During our three days special coverage on poverty eradication, my colleagues and I spoke with numerous villagers and farmers, local officials, experts, and even a young couple who made a fortune by selling agriculture products through live streaming.?

在本次為期三天的脫貧報(bào)道中，我和我的同事們采訪了當(dāng)?shù)氐暮芏嗳?，包括村民、農(nóng)民、官員、專家，還有一對(duì)通過在直播平臺(tái)銷售農(nóng)產(chǎn)品而致富的年輕夫婦。

Well, it’s great to see all the villages in the country have met the goal of eradicating extreme poverty by the end of last year.

我們喜悅的看到了全縣在去年底成功實(shí)現(xiàn)了脫貧摘帽。

Poverty eradication is a big issue, not only concerning the development of China but also worldwide, and that is why I want to take this place as an example, to share their stories and experiences, challenges and solutions with our international viewers from a wide range of perspectives about how China has been able to help over 850 million people out of poverty in the past over four decades.

消除貧困是一個(gè)重大問題，不僅關(guān)乎中國(guó)的發(fā)展，也對(duì)世界的發(fā)展有著深遠(yuǎn)的影響，因此，我們希望把三臺(tái)縣作為一個(gè)案例，分享他們的故事和經(jīng)驗(yàn)，挑戰(zhàn)和解決方案，向我們來自不同角度的國(guó)際觀眾,展示中國(guó)是如何在過去40年中幫助超過8.5億人脫貧的。

It made me realize that poverty eradication isn't just about making sure people have enough to eat, have an annual income at minimum of 4000 yuan, or renovating homes and roads in mountainous areas.?

這些遇到的人和經(jīng)歷，讓我深深感到，消除貧困不僅僅是吃飽穿暖、確保它們的年收入不低于4000元，或者在山區(qū)修繕房屋和道路。

It was also about giving children better access to education, allowing farmers to gain higher spiritual fulfillment. In order to ensure well-rounded and sustainable development.

也是為了讓孩子們更好地接受教育，讓農(nóng)民在精神上獲得更多的幸福感。讓山村的發(fā)展更加全面、可持續(xù)。

We're now at the very final phase of meeting the goal. The last mile is by no means an easy task, but with a very strong determination, the joint efforts and also the effective measures just like what we saw here in the Santai County and numerous places across China, we are hopeful that we will get there.

如今，中國(guó)正處于打贏脫貧攻堅(jiān)戰(zhàn)的決勝時(shí)刻。這最后一公里至關(guān)重要，但憑借強(qiáng)烈的愿望、共同的努力和有效的措施，就像我們?cè)谌_(tái)縣和中國(guó)許多地方看到的那樣，我們相信，目標(biāo)會(huì)如期實(shí)現(xiàn)。
