NBA總裁支持莫雷，想得很“天真”，凌晨就被“打臉”了

針對(duì)莫雷的不當(dāng)言行，NBA總裁肖華卻回應(yīng)稱：我們支持他。

肖華稱，支持莫雷的言論自由

昨天，正在日本參加活動(dòng)的NBA總裁亞當(dāng)·肖華（Adam Silver）對(duì)媒體回應(yīng)休斯頓火箭總經(jīng)理莫雷（Daryl Morey）發(fā)表涉港不當(dāng)言論一事。

據(jù)日媒《日本時(shí)報(bào)》（The Japan Times）報(bào)道，肖華稱，“支持他在這種情況下表達(dá)政治觀點(diǎn)的自由。”

"What I am?supporting is his freedom of political expression in this situation,"?he said.

“毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)，經(jīng)濟(jì)上的影響已經(jīng)很明顯了。那條推特已經(jīng)產(chǎn)生了相當(dāng)巨大的后果，我也讀到一些媒體暗示我們不支持莫雷，但事實(shí)上我們支持（莫雷）。作為一家基于價(jià)值觀的組織，我要明確表示，莫雷在行使其言論自由的能力方面得到我們的支持?！?/p>

"There is no doubt, the economic impact is already clear," he said. "There have already been fairly dramatic consequences from that tweet, and I have read?some of the media suggesting that we are not supporting Daryl Morey, but in fact we have."
"I think as a values-based organization that I want to make it clear … that Daryl Morey is supported in terms of his ability to exercise his freedom of expression."

他還表示，“我還需要澄清一個(gè)事實(shí)，我們向中國(guó)粉絲道歉與支持某人發(fā)表觀點(diǎn)的權(quán)利并不相矛盾?！?/p>

"And I will just add that the fact that we have apologized to fans in China is not inconsistent with supporting someone’s right to have a point of view."

在采訪中，肖華似乎對(duì)目前的形式持較為樂(lè)觀的態(tài)度，他期待事件得到積極地解決。

他甚至表示，盡管目前這場(chǎng)爭(zhēng)議在短期內(nèi)給NBA在亞洲建立品牌的舉動(dòng)造成了巨大痛苦，但可能會(huì)帶來(lái)一些好處。

Silver even said he believes that, despite the significant short-term pain the controversy is causing the NBA as it endeavors to build its brand across?Asia, some good may come out of it.

“我希望我這樣說(shuō)不會(huì)顯得太天真，我相信最終會(huì)得到積極的結(jié)果?！?/p>

"I hope I am not naive in saying that I think at the end of the day some positive will come from this."

一向看重粉絲和經(jīng)濟(jì)效益的NBA，竟然能在支持莫雷不當(dāng)言行的同時(shí)，還在期待事情能朝積極的方向發(fā)展。不知道肖華是真“天真”，還是“真傻”。

NBA球隊(duì)籃網(wǎng)（Brooklyn Nets）的華裔老板蔡崇信（Joe Tsai）公開(kāi)發(fā)表了一篇長(zhǎng)文，深刻剖析了中國(guó)球迷的心理活動(dòng)，也對(duì)NBA提出了忠告，可以說(shuō)是啪啪打臉了肖華。

10月6日晚，蔡崇信在社交媒體上公開(kāi)發(fā)表長(zhǎng)文稱，“作為NBA30支球隊(duì)其中一支的老板，也作為一個(gè)在中國(guó)度過(guò)了我職業(yè)生涯大部分時(shí)光的炎黃子孫，我必須站出來(lái)發(fā)聲?！?/p>

"As a governor of one of the 30 NBA teams, and a Chinese having spent a good part of my professional life in China, I need to speak up," wrote Tsai, who took control of the Nets in August.

蔡崇信在公開(kāi)信中分析了此事的嚴(yán)重性：“火箭隊(duì)在這之前是中國(guó)最受歡迎的球隊(duì)，但現(xiàn)在可以說(shuō)被驅(qū)逐出了中國(guó)市場(chǎng)。球迷不再喜歡這支球隊(duì)，轉(zhuǎn)播商拒絕播放火箭隊(duì)的比賽，中國(guó)的贊助商也大量取消他們的贊助合作?！?/p>

The Rockets, who by far had been the favorite team in China, are now effectively shut out of the Chinese market as fans abandon their love for the team, broadcasters refuse to air their games and Chinese corporates pull sponsorships in droves.

他還對(duì)NBA提出了忠告：“NBA是一個(gè)球迷第一的聯(lián)盟。當(dāng)數(shù)以億計(jì)的球迷對(duì)某個(gè)問(wèn)題憤怒的時(shí)候，聯(lián)盟及與NBA有關(guān)的人都必須高度關(guān)注?！?/p>

The NBA is a fan-first league. When hundreds of millions of fans are furious over an issue, the league, and anyone associated with the NBA, will have to pay attention.

8日凌晨，多位藝人陸續(xù)發(fā)表官方聲明表明立場(chǎng)，堅(jiān)決反對(duì)任何企圖分裂國(guó)家的言論和行為，堅(jiān)持一個(gè)中國(guó)原則，表示將不會(huì)出席10月9日舉辦的“NBA球迷之夜”以及10月10日的NBA中國(guó)賽。
