ABB的Millmate?帶材張力測量系統(tǒng)壓頭，是以1954年獲得專利的、著名的Pressductor?磁致效應(yīng)為基礎(chǔ)的，根據(jù)該原理，鋼材的磁特性會受到機(jī)械作用力的影響。
在傳感器內(nèi)有四個孔。相互垂直的兩個線圈通過這些孔纏繞在一起。一個線圈被施加交流電，另一個線圈作為測量線圈。由于兩個線圈相互垂直，只要傳感器上沒有負(fù)荷，它們之間就沒有磁耦合。
如果傳感器上有負(fù)荷（如圖所示），磁場特性就會改變。在受力方向上鋼材的導(dǎo)磁率將降低，在垂直方向上將增加。這導(dǎo)致磁通對稱性發(fā)生變化，部分磁通將誘導(dǎo)二次側(cè)線圈產(chǎn)生感應(yīng)電壓。感應(yīng)電壓與負(fù)荷成比。
ABB獨(dú)有的壓磁?技術(shù)讓Mini系列枕式壓頭非同尋常的堅固，讓它們能承受各種不同的工作條件。
當(dāng)受到機(jī)械力時，ABB的Pressductor傳感器會因磁場變化而產(chǎn)生測量信號。(將鼠標(biāo)移動到插圖上可以看到這些變化。)由于這些信號不受物理運(yùn)動或變形的影響，稱重傳感器將靈敏度與對過載的非凡耐受性結(jié)合在一起，并且?guī)缀鯖]有負(fù)載循環(huán)次數(shù)的內(nèi)在限制。

ABB's Millmate strip tension measuring system indenter is based on the well-known Pressductor

magnetic effect, patented in 1954, according to which the magnetic properties of steel are affected by mechanical forces.

There are four holes inside the sensor. Two coils that are perpendicular to each other are wound together through these holes. An alternating current is applied to one coil and the other coil acts as a measuring coil. Since the two coils are perpendicular to each other, there is no magnetic coupling between them as long as there is no load on the sensor.

If there is a load on the sensor (as shown), the magnetic field characteristics change. The magnetic permeability of the steel will decrease in the direction of force and increase in the vertical direction. This results in a change in flux symmetry, and part of the flux will induce an induced voltage in the secondary side coil. The induced voltage is proportional to the load.

technology makes the Mini series pillow indenters unusually strong, allowing them to withstand a wide range of working conditions.
When subjected to mechanical force, ABB's Pressductor sensor generates a measurement signal due to changes in the magnetic field. (Hover your mouse over the illustration to see these changes.) Since these signals are not affected by physical motion or deformation, the weight sensor combines sensitivity with an extraordinary tolerance to overload, and there is almost no inherent limit to the number of load cycles.
It is advantageous to use this horizontal component to measure strip tension. The weighing sensor is sized to measure strip tension only, excluding roll tare weight. As a result, the measurement accuracy is optimized.
Another ADVANTAGE IS THAT ABB'S UNIQUE horizontal WEIGHT SENSOR -- DESIGNED specifically FOR MEASURING this component of force -- provides significantly greater stiffness level and overload tolerance in the direction of force than the vertical weight sensor.
