未雨衣盡濕。

前者登遠(yuǎn)行，

后人空腹試。

Vertical road

Stars and moons are not rational,

Wet without a raincoat.

The former travels far,

Later generations try on an empty stomach.

Looking back― I don't see the ancients; looking ahead― can't see the generations to come.
