鈹青銅以鈹作為主要合金組元的一種無錫青銅。含有1.7～2.5%鈹及少 量鎳、鉻、鈦等元素，經(jīng)過淬火時效處理后，強度 極限可達(dá)1250～1500MPa，接近中等強度鋼的水 平。在淬火狀態(tài)下塑性很好，可以加工成各種半成 品。鈹青銅具有很高的硬度、彈性極限、疲勞極限 和耐磨性，還具有良好的耐蝕性、導(dǎo)熱性和導(dǎo)電 性，受沖擊時不產(chǎn)生火花，廣泛用作重要的彈性元 件、耐磨零件和防爆工具等。

鈹青銅具有良好的綜合性能。其力學(xué)性能，即強度、硬度、耐磨性和耐疲勞性居銅合金之首。其導(dǎo)電、導(dǎo)熱、無磁、抗火花等性能其他銅材無法與之相比。在固溶軟態(tài)下鈹青銅的強度與導(dǎo)電性均處于zui低值，加工硬化以后，強度有所提高，但電導(dǎo)率仍是zui低值。經(jīng)時效熱處理后，其強度及電導(dǎo)率明顯上升。
