西方人以紅，綠,白三色為圣誕色，圣誕節(jié)來(lái)臨時(shí)家家戶戶都要用圣誕色來(lái)裝飾。紅色的有圣誕花和圣誕蠟燭，綠色的是圣誕樹(shù)。圣誕樹(shù)是圣誕節(jié)的主要裝飾品，上面懸掛著五顏六色的彩燈，禮物和紙花。圣誕老人是圣誕節(jié)活動(dòng)中最受歡迎的人物，西方兒童在圣誕夜臨睡之前，要在枕頭旁放上一只襪子，等候圣誕老人在他們?nèi)胨蟀讯Y物放在襪子內(nèi)。

Western people take red, green and white as the color for the Christmas, which are often used to decorate the house of every family at Christmas time. Flowers and candles are red and the Christmas tree is green as the major decoration for the season, the Christmas tree is decorated with colorful lights,presents and paper flowers.Santa Claus is the most popular figure at Christmas. On the eve of the festival, children in the West would put a sock by the pillow before going to sleep , expecting gifts to be put inside the sock by Santa.

The construction of Beihai Park has to do with an old myth. As it goes, there were once immortalgods dwelling among three immortal mountains in East China Sea. During the Han Dynasty, there was an emperor who, driven by a dream for eternity, sent his men to the sea for elixirs but to no avail. So he ordered a big water pool to be dug to the north of Chang 'an City in which three artificial hills were built,Since then, almost all the emperors in China had been inclined to build their imperial palaces after the pattern of "three hills and one pool." However, due to higher cost and stricter standards, it is clearly not advantageous for the children from the countryside. According to one study, the number of students whose college dream has come true through this way only accounts for less than 2%. Some students have to give up the interview due to financial pressure even when they have passed the written stage. Rural children have limited knowledge base and poor ability to express themselves and some of them can't speak decent Standard Chinese. Even when they come to the interview stage, only few of them can walk out successfully.

兒科護(hù)理工作很多人不愛(ài)干，因?yàn)槔郏枰冻鰰r(shí)間和精力。工作總是需要有人來(lái)做的，既然要做，就要把它做好。我并沒(méi)有覺(jué)得自己付出了太多，因?yàn)槲矣X(jué)得一個(gè)人實(shí)現(xiàn)自己的價(jià)值是多方面的，不能僅僅考慮金錢(qián)或報(bào)酬，就像衡量一個(gè)人是否幸福不能單純用物質(zhì)衡量一樣。這份工作讓我覺(jué)得自己做的事情都是有意義的，自己成為了一個(gè)對(duì)社會(huì)有用的人。

Pediatric nursing is a job most people are unwilling to take because it is tiring and demands both time and energy. This work has to be done by somebody and since it's me, I want to do it well. I do not feel that 1have given too much because I think there are more ways to fulfill our value than just thinking about money or reward. Similarly, we cannot just look at material gains to evaluate whether one is happy or not. Thiswork makes me feel that my contributions are meaningful and that I am a useful person to our society.

失敗是成功之母。不經(jīng)歷風(fēng)雨怎能見(jiàn)彩虹，縱觀悠悠歷史，失敗的例子不勝枚舉。幾乎每一個(gè)人做每一件事，都可能失敗。如果害怕失敗，那么只能什么事也不干。只有不怕失敗，才能不斷進(jìn)步，才能取得事業(yè)上的成功。失敗與成功之間有一個(gè)艱難曲折的過(guò)程，有人曾把這個(gè)過(guò)程比作橋梁。古今中外有不少人就是通過(guò)這座橋梁，才走向了成功。

Failure is the mother of success. After the storm comes the rainbow. When we look back into our long history, there are numerous examples of failures. No matter what we do, almost everyone experiences failures. If we are afraid of failures, we will end up doing nothing. Only when we think nothing of failures will we make continuous progress and achieve success in our enterprises. There is a tortuous process between success and failure, which someone used to liken to a bridge. During ancient times as well as moderm times and both inside and outside China, we can find many people who have reached success by taking this bridge.
