During the most urgent periods of pandemic, we had to stay at home. But, meanwhile,there were some people who had to go out to provide foods for the public. They were not as great as doctors and scientists. But they also saved millions of people’s life and warmed people’s heart.

When you were watching TV, volunteers were running across the street to send food. When you were sleeping, they were comforting patients who had covid-19 in hospital. When you were having meals, they were looking after the elders and children who had no relatives nearby. They have done a lot for the public, but it seems that no one would think of them when we are talking about heroes. They spent most of their time for the public and even forgot the needs of themselves.

When they found the public was short of masks, they tried their best to help factories get materials to produce more masks. And they sold masks at very good price or gave them away for the poor. If there were no volunteers in this world, the number of covid-19 cases would be larger. If there were no volunteers in this world, most of us would be hungry or ill.

Volunteers are very important in our life, especially in this kind of situation. Don’t forget their goodness and their importance to this world. Don’t forget to thumbs up for volunteers!
