Wow, they have some wild entertainment spots there. Were all those places just on one street? Never experienced those kinds of places bunched together, was a real treat to see. Great video, Alex. Will dream of those places! Stay safe, my man....Let us know what Julia's response was to that!!! ))))) Keep on with your eye openers there!! Cheers!!

Pubs, dancing bars, tea houses and KTVs are typically scattered around the city. But they do intend to build close to each other so there many clusters like what you see here in the city. Hope this answers your question. Welcome to visit China after the pandemic.

Watch this video and his other videos and yet you have not been convinced how SAFE China is? I wish you stay very careful and safe where ever you are in Canada, in CA is take your chance of not getting shot.

@barfff You posted this on the wrong comment, I am NOT anywhere near Canada nor the U.S, for that matter. So whoever you are talking to, you need to post it in the right place! Thanks!

@Hub of Truth by Michael I may have guessed wrong your place of origin, but my message holds true of what I said.

@Hub of Truth by Michael I appreciate all the support you give the channel. No idea what barfff means ?
@Hub of Truth by Michael,感謝你支持我的頻道。我也不清楚@barfff想說什么?

My home town is Beijing, there are a few dozen "party streets" scattered in different locations. But I haven't seen anything reach this scale...?

@barfff Gosh aren't you a party pooper. The original comment obviously meant "stay safe" as a general wish of well-being, like many many people do when they talk to friends and families. Go vent your anger at the right people, not at someone who only had positive things to say about this video!

that's why China built their airports and train stations with the holiday rush in mind.

well for Chinese new year, quite the opposite - you will see empty streets and closed shops - Chinese new year is time for family reunx so people stayed at home with families and relatives.

Absolutely wonderful. I really enjoyed it and wish I'm with you on that day. I don't really like to go to these kinds of places but I'd like to see it. So thanks for sharing Alex. A little tips: the reason why it's called jiujie is because it has the same pronouciation as jiujie which means alcohol street in English. But as you can see it's increasingly becoming a bars and pubs area. This area is still expanding and will be fully merged with Guanyinqiao area. Some interesting new projects are under construction. It will be more fun in the future. Of course there're some other bars and pubs areas in CQ like Jiaochangkou etc. but Jiujie is the biggest cluster so far.

Halloween is one of the major sales day for the clubs in China. the cost of a door fee up to 300rmb per person , a table for 6-8 ppl costs 20k-30k in a Shanghai club

I didnt pay anything except for drinks

The entrance fee comes with tickets for “free” drinks. That’s how it worked when I was in shanghai in 2019 during Halloween. Most places do not charge an entrance fee

There are affordable places as well. Everyone can have fun.
