葡聚糖-氨基外觀呈白色絮狀，不同的分子量也會(huì)影響葡聚糖的外觀，氨基取代度為20%：例如采用20000分子量的葡聚糖，對(duì)其進(jìn)行氨基化修飾，取代度為20%，即1 mol本品含117個(gè)葡萄糖單元，其中有23個(gè)葡萄糖單元被氨基化。Dextran葡聚糖（右旋糖酐Dextran）,是一類具支鏈葡萄糖高聚物，他不帶電荷，呈電中性，易溶于水，葡聚糖跟PEG一樣具有良好的生物相容性，毒性較低適用于動(dòng)物體內(nèi)，葡聚糖還是一種生物可降解高分子聚合物，它可降解為低分子的糖。

葡聚糖可以連接不同的活化基團(tuán)如：NH2/MAL/COOH等，還可以提供一些熒光標(biāo)記的葡聚糖，如：FITC/Rhodamine等。

氨基葡聚糖(glycosaminoglycan) 俗稱黏多糖(mucopolysacharide )。它是含氨多糖，由重復(fù)的二糖單位聚合而成不分支的長(zhǎng)鏈，二糖單元中，有一個(gè)糖殘基必定是氨基己糖，即N-乙酰葡糖胺或N -乙酰半乳糖胺，故名氨基葡聚糖。
