Mod集成與SDK

K: ?It's going down what's going on the question chat another question coming from one of our map modder frankly, doing bad ass work.

K：我們下一個來自提問頻道里，做得一手好地圖Mod的作者們的問題。

K: Is there a rough ETA on a full good and NDA... NDA SDK?

K：對于完整的保密SDK有沒有一個大概的發(fā)布時間呢？

K: That's a word that's a lot of combination I'm looking for.

K：這腦子稍微有點跟不上嘴。

Z: Luckily. no more nda luckily.

Z：幸運的是，現(xiàn)在不用保密了。

S: I can answer that one.

S：這問題我倒是能提一嘴。

S: So we've been making a lot of improvements to the game itself around modding support internally.

S：其實我們在游戲內部做了不少提高Mod支持的改進。

S: One thing that will be shipping early this year is a safe mode.

S：應該在上半年就能先出來個安全模式。

S: And loading just Ready or Not paks to get around some of the loading issues and help people with it.

S：給部分有加載問題玩家使用的，僅加載游戲本體Paks的安全模式。

S: And then after that, we'll be looking at building the SDK with help from the community on methods and function and functionality \Nthat would like to see in this SDK.

S：我們希望能夠與社區(qū)一同構建一個符合社區(qū)需求（函數(shù)與接口）的SDK。

S: And one of the challenges we ran into is unreal paks support doesn't allow you to load a write content at run time.

S： 我們遇到的其中一個問題是，UE4不支持在運行時熱加載編譯Pak。

S: So we really need to extend their our mod loading to do it at run time.

S：所以我們得擴展出熱加載Mod的能力。

S: So you know final maps and pack file final weapons and the pack file and extend our internal data tables.

S：還得實現(xiàn)地圖、武器Mod之間的相互兼容（添加到武器列表中）。

S: Hopefully, I'll be taken on that this quarter, I guess.

S：估摸著，我會在第一季度做這些玩意吧。

S: So I'll be looking for some support from the community there.

S：這事我也得找社區(qū)幫忙一起搞。

S: But as with a date, when we'll have a fully fledged SDK.

S：但真要說啥時候能有個完全成熟的SDK。

S: Soon, I guess, can't say when just but I will be working on.

S：我只能說Soon~但我會一直努力開發(fā)下去。

G: it for us is something that... Zack you go ahead, Zack ?go ahead.

Z: I was just gonna say we we just added a kind of simplified sound modding support.

Z：我只是想說，我們目前已經(jīng)給音效做了一些簡單的Mod支持。

Z: So it's pretty bare bones.

Z：雖然現(xiàn)在還比較簡陋。

Z: But with that being said, it lets you place custom sounds and put in custom music.

Z：但已經(jīng)足以支撐修改音效和音樂

Z: There's a few caveats or caveats. I don't know how to say the word.

Z：但還有些注...注意事項有點不知道怎么說這個詞了。

G: Zack you got it.

G：Zack你已經(jīng)說對了

Z: And I've got a a doc that I'm typing up right now, and I'm gonna include it in the unofficial modding guide.

Z：我已經(jīng)在編一個文檔了，我打算把這文檔塞進一個非官方的模組教程里。

Z: And that's that's a quantum new project.

Z：這個是quantum（人名）的新項目。

Z: And he's actually a newer member of our team.

Z: And he's awesome dude.

Z: You gotta ask that got more questions because he like he knows all the stuff just off the top of his head.

Z: But emm... ?Ideally, in the future, we're gonna have much more in depth support.

Z: So that's like, you don't need Fmod right now to mod.

Z：雖然目前做還用不上Fmod。

Z: But in the future we want to have it so that you can crack open Fmod and have all \Nthese crazy parameter changes and just do stuff.

Z：不過往后，你們可以用Fmod盡情魔改，隨意開發(fā)Mod。

Z: How you envision it rather than this kind of restrictive way that we have now.

Z：你可以按自己的想法隨意開發(fā)不受限制。

G: He's watching us right now. By the way. I see him.

S: Just gonna shout out to quantum new he was a modder we hired as well.

S: Late last year, mid to late last year, doing a great job.

S：應該是去年中往后加入的，是一把開發(fā)好手。

G: This is the king that we are get to go.

G：他確實是我們要找的那個人。

K: So we'll be getting those modder tools we need.

K：我們肯定會搞清楚需要哪些Mod開發(fā)工具。

K: We're thank thanks to you guys. and both the modder.

K：感謝Mod開發(fā)者與你們的支持。

K: I've been able to kind of pass off exactly what they're looking for and get bits and pieces to help them do what they need.

K：我才能準確地知道Mod開發(fā)者到底需要什么，并依此為他們提供一些微小的幫助。

K: But having a good and proper SDK will be a massive boon to everyone.

K：但一個好的SDK對于開發(fā)者來說肯定是好事。

S: If we can get a few of the key modder who are keen to help, and I guess help with the direction of that sort of stuff.

S：要是我們可以找到些核心的Mod開發(fā)者，了解他們的需求，或許能更明確SDK的開發(fā)方向。

S: All mean let's do that.

K: They're topping at the best. I can tell you that much.

G: But let's that is a big thing for us. I just wanna attack on there.

G: It's like the very robust more support is gonna be really cool.

G：對于Mod的支持肯定是越完善越好。

G: I been saw that couple days ago, someone dropped that rag doll return, rag dolls return, or something, \Nwhich looks really cool.

G：前幾天我看見有人發(fā)了布娃娃效果優(yōu)化的Mod，看起來挺有意思的。

G: Things like that being able to introduce mods like that.

G：我很樂意向你們介紹這些mod。

G: I really, really like seeing that kind of stuff.

G：我真的很喜歡見到這些Mod的出現(xiàn)。

G: I think there's another mod out there.

G：我還想起另外一個Mod。

G: I think it was gunfighter mod, which was even just moving around the view.

G：Mod的名字叫GunFighter，主要圍繞游戲觀感方面進行調整。

G: It wasn't just if you're in the view model, there's an almost a total game play overhaul from someone who you know they like.

G：這個Mod不只是單是調整模型，而是徹底按玩家喜好調整了整個游戲的體驗。

G: All I like this specific kind of game play.

G：我個人也很喜歡這種游戲體驗。

G: Those kinds of mods are really cool because you wanna be able to have \Nthat access from the community.

G：我很樂意看到這樣Mod，因為他們能借此反應玩家社區(qū)到底想要什么東西。

G: If someone says, I like really/not like how it feels, but I really wanna be able to get in more firefights, or even something as simple as I don't really like what the view model is on the screen.

G：要是有的人覺得，他確實不太喜歡這種游戲體驗，想要更好的交火體驗，甚至只是單純不想看見某些玩意。

G: Having that kind of depth in customization model and modification is really cool.

G：能對游戲有如此深層的調整和修改，（對玩家來說）是一件好事。

G: And it brings me back to the old days of like modding where you really could change a lot of things you could play around with a lot of different variables and get kind of cardiac experience if you really wanted to.

G：一下子就讓我想起了當初做Mod的時候，你可以魔改很多東西，修改很多參數(shù)；如果你想的話，甚至把游戲變成你的形狀。

G: And you start seeing these mod packs kind of arise as a result, which is super, super cool.

G：所以你能看到這類Mod越來越多，這不也挺好的。

G: We're making Ready or Not on how we want to see Ready or Not.

G：我們正將游戲朝著我們想要的樣子開發(fā)。

G: If there's really someone out there who's like.

G：但總會有老哥會...

G: Yeah, I wanna see this. I wanna see that.

G：想要這個想要那個的。

G: I wanna see that like we release the SDK and someone's like, oh there still got the animations of sprinting, let's say, all this look at all the code.

G：我希望在我們發(fā)布SDK之后，有老哥一看代碼，發(fā)現(xiàn)奔跑的動作和代碼都還在。

G: It's just commented out.

G：只是被注釋掉了

G: Boom, I'm gonna write that. I'm gonna add this in, or it's I don't think we're gonna \Ngive source code access on the show, but those kinds of things,\NI think it's really cool to see.

G：想往里寫點東西、加點東西；雖然我們不太可能直接發(fā)布源代碼出去，但像這類事，要是能做成肯定很不錯。

G: And honestly, that's definitely where like the endpoint from modding.

G：而且說實話，這事像摸到了Mod開發(fā)的天花板。

G: In my opinion, that would be really cool for where it goes.

G：我覺得，朝著這個方向開發(fā)SDK多半很可以。

G: But even as a baseline just maps and weapons, even like a game play, but also really cool.

G：SDK里至少會有地圖、武器、游戲模式之類的東西。

G: Ai tool is considering how ai is now written, at least made it very easy for people \Nto kind of write new behaviors, right?

G：AI工具需要考慮怎么編輯AI行為，至少要能讓玩家比較容易添加新行為。

A: Yeah tool and assets are differentiate that can be extended.

A：是啊，工具和素材的差異在于擴展性上。

A: I just need to find a way to like a modders like modify that.

A：我得找到一種讓Mod開發(fā)者也能介入修改的方式。

K: Rolling back to something you had said earlier, designing a game that you want to see, rather than what you think the community want to see.

K：讓我們回到先前的話題，按自己的喜好去開發(fā)游戲，而非一味迎合社區(qū)，在我看來這確實是對的路。

K: Because that way you create a more robust, more cohesive, sort of experience rather than kind \Nof bouncing around all over the place.

K：只有這樣，才能開發(fā)出一個更健壯更閉環(huán)的游戲，而不是像個縫合怪一樣啥都有一點。

G: Yeah, I it's good to have a finger in the wind with the community.

G：其實持續(xù)與社區(qū)接觸是一件好事。

G: It's like, how things, you know, you really sound like that sucks. You have fuck.

G：有時候社區(qū)反應是，哈皮Void搞的啥破玩意。

G: All right. It's not a good idea that we need to go back to the drawing board.

G：然后我們就知道，這設計不好，直接回去重新設計。

G: But when it comes to, I wanted to make this game since I was like 16.

G：但說到...我從16歲開始就想做這游戲。

G: And we have this. So I we're all very grateful for this opportunity.

G：我們都很珍惜開發(fā)這游戲的機會。

G: I'll speak for myself and very grateful for this opportunity to be able to do this.

G：就我個人來說，我非常感激能有機會做游戲。

G: That I don't necessarily want to capitulate and be like, we're just gonna make what everyone \Nwants to see, because it's impossible.

G：但我也不想過于迎合玩家，而且也基本不可能同時滿足所有人的要求。

G: You can't please that many people, it's not feasible.

G：你也不可能讓所有人都滿意。

G: You make the game you wanna make.

G：你只能按自己的想法去開發(fā)游戲。

G: But giving people the tools to make what they wanna make is its second to none.

G：但給玩家留下能自己開發(fā)東西的工具，也不賴。

G: If anything that's even. It's even better.

G：甚至有些時候，這種模式更好。

G: Some people will be better dev than like from what their goals are.

G：有些玩家追求自己的想法時開發(fā)得甚至比我們還好。

G: Like if your goal is to make like a zombie mod, let's say, you may be a better creator of that, like you may be a better developer in that sphere.

G：比如說如果你想做一個喪尸Mod，那你可能這特定領域內開發(fā)得比我們好多了。

G: Then we would be, if we try to do it like that is absolutely entirely possible.

G：如果我們（的SDK）按這個模式，很可能就能做到（玩家把游戲變成自己的形狀）

G: And that's why modding is so cool. And what's why?

G：這就是Mod開發(fā)的魅力。而這也是...

G: That's why we hire a lot of modder, because there is that they're so passionate and they're also really, really talented.

G：這也是為啥我們招了那么多Mod開發(fā)者的原因，因為他們不僅熱衷于開發(fā)，同時技術也很好。

G: And you go well if you're interested love to collaborate more together.

G：如果有興趣跟他們一起合作，也能合作得挺好的。

G: Because that is just like it's the icing on the cake.

G：因為（對于游戲來講）就像錦上添花。

G: It's like where it's the creative juncture that you want to achieve with your community.

G：它（Mod）也是（游戲開發(fā)者）與社區(qū)的腦洞相互碰撞與融合之后的產(chǎn)物。

G: I think you can't have that without modeling.

G：我覺得只有Mod才能達到這樣的效果。

G: Yeah that's the end of my answer to that. But tell you.

G：這就是我對這個問題的答案。

S: I hate to say crafting on Ready or Not ,Sterling.

S：但Sterling（Gruntr）,我確實不太想聊開發(fā)游戲的事。

G: Yeah, absolutely. You're gonna start crafting and shifts.

G：確實，畢竟你得實際開發(fā)和處理東西。

G: [Laugh] You gotta, look cabinets and crashes.

G：[笑] 你得處理問題和崩潰。

M: Just kind of build on top of us. All sorry, for interrupting guys

M：有點類似于在游戲的基礎上進一步開發(fā)。抱歉打斷你們。

M: Just kind of build on what's going on saying as well.

M：之前說的Mod開發(fā)的模式更像是在游戲本體的基礎上二次開發(fā)。

M: I think we're in a like really interesting sort position as well as developers, where you know just as a working example, like some of the past games I've worked on the stuff like that, you don't have this kind of feedback with the people playing your game until it goes out the door.

M：作為開發(fā)者，我覺得我們現(xiàn)在的處境也挺微妙的，在我之前工作參與開發(fā)的游戲項目時，要不是玩家意見太大壓根沒現(xiàn)在這種反饋。

M: And then by that point, it's really too late to kind of do anything, but what an awesome opportunity is to be not only making it in like, but getting real time feedback as we're doing it.

M：等到眾怒的時候，干啥都晚了。而現(xiàn)在的情況是，不僅有反饋，而且還是幾乎實時的反饋。

M: So it's not even a case of like, like it's with, we're making the game we wanna make, but it's gradually learning as well as we're making this game.

M：我們現(xiàn)在更像學著怎么開發(fā)游戲，怎么開發(fā)RoN，但我們仍在把RoN按自己的想法開發(fā)。

M: And I'm sure like the communication can see this is we're going as well like the games only getting better.

M：但我相信，社區(qū)與開發(fā)者的交流肯定會讓游戲開發(fā)更上一層樓。

M: And I think a lot of that is to do with the feedback that we're getting almost on a day daily basis from \Nthe community, actively playing it.

M：因為我們收到的反饋都來自天天玩這游戲的社區(qū)。

M: We're reading it, was seeing it was we're adapting to make the best game we can effectively.

M：我們廣開言路，耳聽八方，并積極適應高效開發(fā)游戲的模式。

Z: Thousand percent and watch.

Z：我們能看到的反饋確實很少。

Z: It's like watching play through of people playing the game too, where it's kind of like you know you're working on something actively, but there's someone playing the last iteration.

Z：這就像我們在積極開發(fā)的時候，也有人在玩最新的版本，而你就這么看著他們玩。

Z: And like I could speak on the sound side, just like there's like a bug that you missed and some maybe they didn't even notice it, but you just noticed as they're playing it, you catch something like Oh shit I gotta go in and like fix that up.

Z：就像在音效這塊，有的Bug你忘了修，但可能大部分人都注意不到。但你看他們玩的時候，瞬間就發(fā)現(xiàn)了；草，我得滾去修Bug了。

Z: So like that's we're thankful because you guys are catching all this stuff and you're also giving us the feedback ASAP like this works, this doesn't work.

Z：我們很感謝你們不僅注意到這些細節(jié)，還幾乎實時地反饋給我們，啥正常啥不正常。

Z: I'm kind of echoing what everyone else is saying right now, but I completely agree.

G：我說的內容稍微有點重復了，但都是我真實的想法。

K: Awesome.

S: Can I just add one other thing on the modding by the way, Kaminsky?

S：Kaminskyw我能再補充一點關于Mod的事么？

K: Ok we good.

K：可以，沒問題。

S: Yeah. So I'm just saying quite a lot of questions and coming around Modio and \NSteam workshop and the likes.

S：我們經(jīng)常被問關于Modio和創(chuàng)意工坊的問題。

S: So Modio is what we're using in the UI right now.

S：我們現(xiàn)在用Modio作為Mod分發(fā)平臺。

S: We don't have any plans to actively not use anything else.

S：我們也沒想著就這樣跟Modio綁死。

S: And however, before we go and look into that, I wanna make sure we wanna make sure that Really or Not supports mods.

S：但在我們研究怎么接入創(chuàng)意工坊之前，我想先確保游戲本身對Mod的兼容。

S: And the way that we've already talked about, once we get the SDK worked out, then we can go back and revisit the other one platforms available.

S：像我們之前說的那樣，先把SDK搞出來，之后再考慮加入其他的Mod分發(fā)平臺。

S: But by no means are we say no to anything or yes to anything?

S：所以，都還皆有可能，都非皆為定數(shù)。

G: We're not locked in anything ever. So

G：我們也沒有跟啥東西綁死。
