‘Frozen 2’ has a major?twist when the true nature of ‘Frozen’s fifth elemental spirit is revealed, but the ending should mean more for Anna in ‘Frozen 3’. At the end of ‘Frozen 2’, the fifth spirit is shown to be Anna and Elsa, together, but the focus is much more on Elsa and her journey. The third ‘Frozen’ film is a good chance for Disney to explore the nature of the fifth spirit more deeply.

The fifth spirit is said to be "a bridge between us and the magic and nature," according to Honeymaren, a member of the Northuldra. At the end of ‘Frozen 2’, Elsa seemingly discovers that she is the fifth spirit, gaining power over the four elements - water, fire, wind and earth. But as Elsa later reveals, the fifth spirit exists in the relationship between her and Anna. Their sisterhood is what forges a bridge between magic, represented by Elsa, and the mundane, represented by Anna. As Elsa says, "a bridge has two sides, and mother had two daughters." Anna and Elsa freed the Enchanted Forest together.
