i love how Gu Qianfan and Zhao Pan'er didn't "accidentally" hugged or kissed together when he saved her lmao. The fighting scene was actually way better than i expected!

Love this drama and Liu Yifei! She’s an amazing actress! This drama is based on an ancient Chinese story/drama/play from Guan Hanqing that depicts the struggle of women (the scxt of “A Dream of Splendor” is original), especially the life of women that worked in the music/performance industry at that time. This drama not only has beautiful love story but also the mutual help among women. It also contains a lot of beautiful Chinese cultural elements.

@hilol it's based on a drama written by Guan Hanqing 關(guān)漢卿(13th century, Yuan Dynasty) called "Saving the Dusty-windy"（趙盼兒風(fēng)月救風(fēng)塵）。Guan was one of the most famous playwrights in Yuan Dynasty. You should learn some literature before making comments, dude.

Waiting for episode 7… this drama is sooo good so far. Main leads are impressive. Female lead she’s so beautiful, elegant and I love her voice so much! Loving the supporting actors too.

OMG. I am bingeing this at 3AM. Why did I start this amazing drama at night!?!?!?! IT IS SOOOOO GOOOOD. I love the interactions between the leads. For some reason I get Story of Minglan vibes and atmosphere here. I like the storyline here and the chemistry of all the characters. The main leads need a whole review of themselves on their superior acting and subtle sweetness with one another. I usually do not like starting ongoing dramas, but glad I started this one.

Oh wow this is different from other cdramas. I was surprised when the ladies started taking matters into their own hands they normally just stand still like your usual damsel in distress waiting for the men to come rescue them.

Wonderful to see him back. BUT disappointed so far. His is a onedimensional character while the women and their friendships / situations are much more interesting. scxt pretty basic too but stunning visuals esp with water. Reminds me of Chef Hua. Zero chemistry between leads that I can see. Going back to "Nothing Gold Can Stay" for a Chen Xiao fix!

astonished! if u watch this episode on this website inside the wall, there is a nearly two-minute ads at the beginning and several half-minute ads during. it’s much easier to watch this on youtube. clearly, chinese customers are not equal to international customers for tecent video.
