The Moon
The Moon
The milk light of moon
reveals that which we fear,
her shadows are tricky
and their purpose unclear.
The Moon summons up
that which we dream,
but the shadows it casts
hide what needs to be seen.
Its inky blackness
may hide the key
but in releasing our demons
we set our inner selffree.
The Moon is an intuitive card of ever
changing temperaments, much like the
tide it controls.Although it can have a
calming or dream-like quality, it is also
associated with anxiety and illusion.
This is indicated by the duality between
the peaceful dragon and the ominous,
shadowy wolves lurking all around her.
This is because while the shadow cast
by The Moon may be a call for serenity,
the upright position distorts the lines
between illusion and reality, driving one
to panic and paranoia.
