一、EPA/EPA認(rèn)證的含義

EPA是美國(guó)環(huán)境保護(hù)署 (U.S Environmental Protection Agency) 的英文縮寫。它的主要任務(wù)是保護(hù)人類健康和自然環(huán)境。總部設(shè)在華盛頓，有10個(gè)地方辦公室和幾十個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)室。他們半數(shù)以上是工程師，科學(xué)家和政策分析家。負(fù)責(zé)對(duì)很多環(huán)境項(xiàng)目設(shè)立國(guó)家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，監(jiān)控強(qiáng)制性標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的執(zhí)行和符合情況。EPA 聯(lián)合州和地方政府頒發(fā)一系列商業(yè)以及工業(yè)許可證。EPA是一個(gè)項(xiàng)目的概念，不是單純的測(cè)試或者認(rèn)證項(xiàng)目。需要根據(jù)產(chǎn)品性質(zhì)制定方案。 EPA負(fù)責(zé)對(duì)各種各樣的環(huán)境計(jì)劃進(jìn)行調(diào)查并制訂國(guó)家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，并代表各州和各部門頒發(fā)相關(guān)執(zhí)照，監(jiān)控并加強(qiáng)一致性。如果沒有達(dá)到國(guó)家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，EPA可簽發(fā)批準(zhǔn)通過采取其它措施幫助州和地方來達(dá)到環(huán)境標(biāo)準(zhǔn)所要求的水平。同樣，EPA在各地的辦事處與其它行業(yè)組織和各級(jí)政府一起進(jìn)行各種不同的自愿的防止污染計(jì)劃和能源的保持工作。

二、哪些產(chǎn)品或者情況下殺蟲劑可以不用做EPA注冊(cè)？

The following pesticides, pest control organisms, and treated articles are exempt from the registration requirements of FIFRA under 40 CFR Part 152, Subpart B: 下列除害劑、防治蟲鼠生物及經(jīng)處理的物品，可根據(jù)《聯(lián)邦法典》第40卷第152部分B子部分，獲豁免于《國(guó)際生物檢疫法》的注冊(cè)規(guī)定:
