Such a beautiful place that it is a shame no-one is living there.
Greg Berger
That's crazy that those places are just empty.

。?br/>

Really nice exterior architecture on these.

those red bricks are much more English style than Italian.. i havent see uncovered or unpainted bricks in Italy as buildings exterior... no where i m from anyway..

I'm Italian, and I can conform that this city doesn't look italian at all. It is still a beautiful place though.

I am shocked at how ignorant these idiots are! Especially trespassing into peoples homes! Honestly I am shocked nobody has turned these idiots into law enforcement! Please know not all American's are stupid like these idiots or as rude to just enter into someone's home!

And I really understand why everything is china has something to do with the government????? Why everybody in west keep thinking that every thing here is controlled by the government , it's not 1960 anymore. It's free market now.

We tried that here in the US in the 70's. Built 100's of thousands of units, entire communities for low income individuals. It was a complete failure. By the 90's the places were crime invested ghettos and had to be demolished.

Those houses look really nice... and they're on the subway. wtf why doesn't anyone want to live there?
Collin Abroadcast(博主)
Exactly my thoughts! The whole area was rather nice, although desolate

Probably too expensive for average Chinese family, also investors and developer made bad decision building such projects.

There's also a dutch-style and a german-style ghosttown in Shanghai if I'm not mistaken. The reason for being empty is very simple: very high prices and the wrong neighborhood (sometimes next to a chemical industrial area).
Marques Kirby
johnsamu partly true but we all live next to chemical stations especially us in the U.K. who’s country is very small.

Cesar Perez
There's no way people can afford that. you can't supply if there's no demand for it.
