"What's wrong, Asiri?" asked his mother. Asiri slumped down on the couch, tears streaming down his face. He told his mother about the accident with the golden sequins at his uncle's workshop. His mother listened patiently, her face full of sympathy. "It's okay, Asiri," she said, wiping his tears. "We all make mistakes. Why don't you go back to your uncle's workshop and apologize? Maybe he'll still let you help with the costumes." With a newfound sense of hope, Asiri dried his tears and set off to his uncle's workshop once again.
Reaching the workshop, Asiri found the sequins were still there. He couldn't believe his luck. Carefully, he gathered them up and placed them back into the box. When Uncle Thad saw him, he shook his head. "Asiri, I'm sorry I yelled at you earlier. I was just worried about the sequins. But I see you've found them all. Come on, let's get back to work." Overjoyed, Asiri followed his uncle inside, ready to help finish the costumes. And when the time came to add the sequins, Uncle Thad let Asiri sew one onto the costume of the most important elephant in the parade. Asiri couldn't have been more proud.
Could you set a essay question imitate the weiqi question?
答:
Sure, here's an essay question that imitates the style of the weiqi question:
If you can set the essay question for gaokao, how will you do?
I want to talk about the point you want to investigate to senior high students.
答:As an AI language model, I don't have a specific agenda or point to investigate. However, if we are discussing potential essay questions for high school students, one point that could be explored is the importance of perseverance and determination in achieving success. This is a topic that can be relevant to students in various fields, whether academic or extracurricular, and can encourage them to continue working hard even when faced with challenges or setbacks. Other potential topics could include the impact of social media on personal relationships, the role of technology in society, or the importance of global cooperation in addressing issues such as climate change.

19.(25分)It was the day of the big cross-country run.Students from seven different primary schools in and around the small town were warming up and walking the route(路線)through thick evergreen forest.
? ? I looked around and finally spotted David, who was standing by himself off to the side by a fence. He was small for ten years old.His usual big toothy smile was absent today.I walked over and asked him why he wasn't with the other children. He hesitated and then said he had decided not to run.
? ? What was wrong? He had worked so hard for this event!
? ? I quickly searched the crowd for the school's coach and asked him what had happened. "I was afraid that kids from other schools would laugh at him,"he explained uncomfortably." I gave him the choice to run or not,and let him decide."
? ? I bit back my frustration(懊惱).I knew the coach meant well - he thought he was doing the right thing. After making sure that David could run if he wanted,I turned to find him coming towards me,his small body rocking from side to side as he swung his feet forward.
? ? David had a brain disease which prevented him from walking or running like other children, but at school his classmates thought of him as a regular kid.He always participated to the best of his ability in whatever they were doing. That was why none of the children thought it unusual that David had decided to join the cross-country team.It just took him longer - that's all.David had not missed a single practice, and although he always finished his run long after the other children,he did always finish. As a special education teacher at the school,I was familiar with the challenges David faced and was proud of his strong determination.
注意:
? ? 1.續(xù)寫詞數(shù)應(yīng)為150左右;
? ? We sat down next to each other, but David wouldn't look at me.
? ? I watched as David moved up to the starting line with the other runners.
Just like on every break, Asiri would go with his uncle to his workshop, who made costumes for elephants! Asiri had been asking to help make the costumes. But he'd been told he was too little to sew the fine stitches needed for the costumes.
Waiting for Uncle Thad, Asiri smoothed his practice piece beside him. Across it he had sewn, pulled out, and resewn stitches just as Uncle Thad had taught him. He couldn't wait to show it to his uncle.
When his uncle finally came over, Asiri leapt from his seat. "Look, Uncle," said Asin, holding up the stitched cloth. “These are fine stitches, Asiri, ” ?said Uncle Thad. “Just right to fix sequins.” Together they walked to the workshop.
Uncle Thad and his team were busy making the costumes. They had to be ready for Esala Perahera, the biggest festival held in the city of Kandy. Since the elephants were the stars of the parade, their costumes had to be dazzling. He especially loved the sequins sewn on them that made them sparkle.
Uncle Thad, his team, and now Asiri, would finish the costumes. Asiri hoped he'd get to sew a sequin onto the costume for the most important elephant in the parade. After lunch, Asiri was putting away a piece of cloth when his uncle called. “Asiri? Please bring me the box of golden sequins.
Here was his chance, thought Asiri. He 'd bring the box to Uncle Thad and then ask to sew one on. Uncle Thad was sure to say yes. Asiri lifted the box from the shelf but turned a little too quickly, and the box was turned over, leaving the golden sequins on the floor. Uncle Thad turned to stare- first at Asiri and then at the golden sequins. Asiri felt his cheeks turning red. Now, Uncle Thad would never let him sew a single sequin on the costumes this year. Asiri dashed out of the door, down the street, and all the way back home. Hearing the rush of his footsteps, Asiri's mother came to the door.
